So I want to ask somebody who's been playing with this beta version for a long time and did not have any issue with the mod. Because I'd like to play with it, but I hesitate because of the glitches.
It's been working fine in campaign for me. Obviously I haven't tried all the maps though.
As stated above
"If you want to know what got added/fixed/changed in each update, check the changelog."
According to change log (for both versions) this has currently the same maps as main version, only dif appears to be 2 unnamed fixes. (maps last added on both was in Update: 23 May, 2020 @ 3:55pm)
Example: Grenzstadt in Averland is a unique map. however if you build city guards build, it will be a walled settlement and no longer load the GCCM version.

This mod removes that, so you can still build the building for the extra troops but it no longer walls off the settlement.
before every battle press the Check Map Button
its the small one next to those 3 about Manual-Battle, Auto-Resolve and Flee
When I play the campaign only like 1 in 10 of the settlement battles are GCCM
- Defense side Reinforcements does not have spawn point so they just dont appear in battle but they do in AutoResolve
- Some assets of the wall and bridges are invisible from inside to outside
- Front Small bridge has a hole where units fall through the ground and then became stuck down there
Sorry for what might be a silly question; the description isn't as clear to me.
I made a mod that stops the Garrison/Walls building from overwriting the GCCM maps in minor settlements by getting rid of the wall attribute.
