Someone with actual modding knowledge please fix this, I appreciate beamer for bringing it back, but now that the creator gave permission to patch it, it could really use some polish here on steam, maybe adding some modded classes, at the very least the musketeer.

This was one of my favourite mods when it first came out and I hate that it ended like this, this is a chance to revive it! Tink about the glory! (But remember to credit because we all know how that ended last time)

First : I had not read all the comments here there are many.

Second : I think you re-uploaded an older and incomplete version of the mod (missing files on vestal, shield breaker and plague doctor skins are glitch as hell)

Third : I went on skymods ( http://catalogue.smods.ru/archives/4574 ) dl that version than copy pasted over your version to have workshop validation (it will not see the mod otherwise) and it seems that all problems are fixed.

Final : It has no sense for me to re-upload the same outdated mod on workshop when you were first. Can you re-re-upload from skymods so we can have a better version on steam. Cheers mate !!!

i can explain the plague doctor bug, second modded pattern lacks some animations (particulary the idle one), so a little update is needed

Yeah, I've been trying to figure that out too, been wracking my brain trying to find out why its happening, no luck. No other skin mods for me, nothing that deals with the characters visual effects. I even re-verified the game after deleting the heroes individual sprite folders. I think it may just be an internal bug with the mod at this point?

Anyone else having a problem with the plague doctor that all the skins besides the green are a weird mess more resembling to missing no than anything bipedel

@Chozidor, Most modded skins are incompatiable with this mod unfortunately. I would make patches but I don't know how to mod, just a re-uploader.

Some Skins become glitched out when in combat or walking and i suspect its this mod that makes it glitch.

the plague doctor and a couple of his skins, and the hellion and any of her skins wearing a helmet. :) hope that helps!

Big update: I have officially got permission from MO himself to mod, redistribute, edit, and otherwise, his creations. I have verified that it is MO through a website that had his old alias, which led me to a profile, which I contacted him. This means that patches, or otherwise can be made for his mods.

Ah, touche. Well, it wasn't anything major and I'm sure it could be worked out.
Anyways, thanks again for reuploading this, never would've known about it otherwise. Cheers.

@bazingo! I'm sorry you ran into a bug, but re-producing it won't really do anything, since I have no idea how to fix bugs. I'm not a modder, just a re-uploader, meaning I can't fix or update or change anything in any of these mods. Sorry, I just lack the talent to do so.

Of course, no worries. I can only hope this mod will become popular enough again to warrant some attention and patches for it. This mod is so great for making the characters and the things they're up against feel more realistic, and it's a shame some of the really genuinely great class mods -- or even the palette extensions -- can't really work with it.

While I have you though, I had a small bug with some class's palettes being bugged except for the first palette. I think it was Plague Doctor or Antiquarian? I think maybe it has something to do with the orientation of the textures in the folder, but I honestly didn't check at the time. I'll try and see if I can't reproduce the bug later.

@bazingo! To my knowledge, Marvin Seo's class mods have patches for this mod, you just have search for them online. I wish I could do more with these mods but they are sadly just re-uploads, meant to remain the same as the day they were removed, not to mention I have no modding talent at all.

Wish this had some compatibility with community class mods.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't MO actually apologized after the initial mess for the stolen mod assets and him being a dick about it? I remember that he uploaded his mods again removing the modified files, with Martin Seo even giving him permission this time to modify his mods to make them compatible with darkest sizes. everything seemed fine, he even released some other mods, then one day he again removed all his mods without an explanation and simply disappeared.

*HuskyStrylight, your message is very kind and I greatly appreciate your understanding of what it was I set out to do. I only re-uploaded to bring the joy of what these mods had originally brought when they were up the first time. I could care less about the Drama behind them.

In this day and age, its kinda funny to see people fight each other for copy right claims, and with so many games, there is more of these drama occurring that the whole basis of modding and making games are being lost. Which its sad in its own way, the whole term of just asking for permission and making a mod to help provide more entertainment to others, slowly became who has the better fame and stupendous pride in their own work.

Well Beamer, best of luck :D, i believe that you just release this mod not for the danger that it contained with others, but to give entertainment to the public. :D

I remember MO's mods, whatever happened to that guy? I liked his Darkest Town mod

Of course, I openly invite anyone who has the talent and knowledge to fix the bug, and then send me the patched file. I just don't know coding myself, or how to even swipe a black line across the screen and make it appear. Haven't been to a university to learn that stuff.

@Majin, I cannot fix the Vestal because unfortunately I do not have the talent to do so. Nor am I willing to collab with other authors, because this mod is not mine (and MO having the reputation he does, no one would be willing to collab), so any original work I'd do, would be lost if the original author, MO, would ask me to take this down, or say that I stole his work.

Please fix Vestal, and maybe if you can collab with other class mods authors to extend this to the other classes like Thrall or idk, it would be awesome :)

I know you only reuploaded the mod but do you know why the Vestal isn't affected like everyone else? Took a look in the workshop folder, and she seems to be left out of the mod entierly.

@chaosshade2638, this mod does not work with any of the skin mods you might use due to how it changed the skeleton of the characters. There were originally plans according to the original author to create either versions or patches for various skin mods, but then the author got outed for stealing art assets and became a right dick about hit before making his account private and deleting all his mods from steam, though you can still find his mods scattered around various sites due to him spreading them out of spite.
