The starting scenarios are broken by this mod for me. This may be an issue with the recent patch when Odyssey came out. I do not own the DLC

For some reason, this mod has destroyed my ability to play rimworld, and i wanna play with the mods but it would cause a "fatal" error and cause the mods to have to be loaded up again, i know this because i just tested it out, im not sure why.

this is still being referenced by the 1.3 version of vanilla weapons expanded - heavy weapons with it's dependencies, even though it is not being used for that

@Fenerium Afaik this mod doesnt do anything on its own, it is a functionality base for the optional addons (medieval/settlers)

all this feels like free DLC the game should come with the mod banners of your various other mods really supports this argument

"Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Yes, you can add it and remove it whenever you like, however you do need a mod like Orion’s Faction Discovery for the settlers faction to actually spawn."

As Cinnius queried, can the mod be dropped in mid-game? Seems only Factions and Spacer furniture are the mods that need updates.
