In 1978, the round headlights were offered with the "Custom" options package. No they didn't change it halfway through the year. So many people get this wrong.

actually mid way through 1978 they changed, so they did have square headlights in 78... l know this because l owned one

FYI its a 79, NOT a 78. 78 has round headlights. 79 are square. but still looks great.

this truck is truly astonishing. looking amazing both inside and outside, no complains about that. however do have a few complains about its performance. add-ons not that big of an issue but a bumper or brush guard would be nice just for looks. Is it suck in 4x4 or 2x4 and why no option? also the steering has a very slow response time, acts like semi hydraulic steering not a fan and biggest issue as far as i'm concerned. but great mod! keep it up!

maybe make it able to haul WOOD? like say short logs and or have a gooseneck? I know everyone else is stating this but the truck is only good for a scouting vehicle and i mean who drives a school bus as a scout vehicle lmao

To anyone complaining that about how this truck drives and handles. I owned a 1979 version of this truck. This is exactly, and I mean exactly how it handled. Floated like a boat, needed so much steering input. In other words, it's perfect lol
