tried in 3.14 with 0 other mod installed (all DLC activated).

Actually it work i have more trait point and trait pick (the thing that is circle in red in the screenshot).

maybe some people are confused with the extra trait that come from another mod

2024-08-04 This was working in my mod list of 17 mods, for bio, machine, and individualist machine. IF it isn't working for you, you likely have a load order issues of some sort. Either investigate the mods by hand, or use conflict solver in Irony Mod Manager to have it point out the issues for you. I have been using this mod since it released and I can never recall it failing for me (it is the first item in my load order as well, meaning 16 other mods could be messing it up, and they aren't).

@Melkorian, it should not be the max if you had researched the techs, traditions and ascensionparks that add trait point, otherwise yes you always start with 6 and it wont increase till you have been through those techs, teaditions etc

Re: robots, apparently 3.0 added some new code, and old mods don't work.

From reading other comments (and half-remembering the answers), you have to insert a "robots = yes" into the trait points (or was it trait picks?) section.

Nice. My initial response was a tad rude, but you'd be surprised just how many people I get complaining about the lack of traits when they only need to read the description to find out :P

You said the traits don't show up. There are no traits in this mod as stated in the description.
If you mean the traits points and picks aren't set to the proper amounts, make sure that this mod is at the bottom of the mod list.

yeah idk, i found a fix for it though. i launch with my species i had made with extra points etc. after game starts i exit and turn off the mod and go back into the save. works like a charm but makes editing species impossible lol.

Strange, I wonder what causes it. The previous issue wasn't a difficult fix, but if it still happens when the override is identical (apart from the numbers) to the vanilla file I don't really know where to look.

That used to be an issue before I updated the mod months ago. Are you sure you have the newest version?
This mod only overwrites one file, and it is basically a carbon copy of the vanilla file with a few numbers changed.

I mean if you want to artificially, just design all the AI in advance; you can temporarily limit them of their points. @prime_hunter

Yes, in the species archetypes file - but as far as I know that is the only way. You can't add them in-game through any means.
