The Iron blocks and slabs only look ok because of the spaceship part, however the pattern on the iron roof parts make excellent feathers :)

With your slope and slab skills I'm sure you'll do a superb Eagle
(and you're more than welcome to use my bp and customise it however you like, I'd trust you)
...if I was to remake it, I'd make it bigger because the beak was really hard to get right with the scale I was working with. I had to settle for getting it right from side views, from above and below it looks too square, I think if the beak was 4 wide instead of 2 it could be shaped to look good from all angles :)

Wow! So cool! Eagle is at my list too. I wanted to build an eagle with an bunny underneath for so long, but did not really find the right materials for it. This iron works fantastic! *rethinking & trying to remember what materials i tried*

Had this bp as an idea back when I made the first of the Dragons, which was originally intended to be a Raven shaped spaceship.
Nearly all my builds start with something else in mind and then evolve into something different, this bp is the only one that stayed the same from conception to completion.
So I'm really hoping this one will do well for ratings (my dragons never got many votes) but I'm afraid there's just not many players checking the workshop at the moment and even fewer actually voting.
