i wish the sound was more beefy and didn't just so clearly cut out. Also it really can't be heard above even light combat

It's been a while since I played with this installed, but as far as I can remember, the sound was frequently cut short or wouldn't play. I think it only triggered on impact with zombies?

Also out of curiosity, did you use recordings of the sound or rips from the game?

It's not this mod I'm concerned with, I know nothing can be done about it. It's the other two mods I'm working on that I need major help with.

Perhaps you could contact someone who is experienced with sound mods. Maybe they could give you a few tips. ^_^

Yeah, the sound cuts out because the default sound is like that. As for the BR, It's just me working on it right now and iv'e run into a problem with it that I can't solve on my own.

I apologise if you hear this all the time, but firstly, Fantastic mod. Only issue for me is it seems like the sound for the hit cuts out too soon. I just assume this is because that's how long the fireaxe sound file is. Secondly (and the thing you hear alot) do we have any update on the BR? I know you guys are hard at work and I'm not pressuring you to speed up becayse I know quality takes time, but I'd just like to know if you have a rough idea on when it'll be done. Again work at your own pace as your other mods are amazing and thanks for such great content!

I understand if I'm persistent, but the amount of anticipation of this mod for myself is TOO DAMN HIGH!

@Caboose It turned out to be some weird glitch and fixed itself when I restarted.

Does ths add effects such as long range sending zombies flying and high jump? When I hosted a local server those happened on dead center hotel.

I think the main reason behind why people were having problems is because of the customized sound that was also implemented into the mod. In my opinion, the original gun firing sound of the AK-47 sounds pretty similar to the Assault Rifle of Halo. If the original sound was kept and there was only a new reload animation, then I think it should work better.

The AR mod won't come back. Not unless the issues that the others have somehow stop existing.

That's too bad :( I was really enjoying the mod, even though it was incomplete. Hopefully, it'll come back to the workshop soon.

For instance: I would fix the sounds, they would be perfect for me, but for most others it would make the first person model invisible. When I saw THAT problem, I gave up.

I actually never found a problem, it has been working perfectly. As for questions, besides the skin link, what questions do you get?

That, and everytime I fixed a problem, a new one showed up. I got too fed up with it to care anymore, so I removed it.

Why did you remove the Assault Rifle from the workshop? Were people pissing you off with repetitive questions?

Yeah, my friend made two reskins for the public, and a personal one for me.

there are a ton of them, saw a gold one and another crimson one. Seems like it was a fan favorite.

That was also my addon, I removed it from workshop yesterday though.

I really love it when it isn't just a reskin and actually has the sound to it. Makes it feel more powerful that the weapon truely is. I resently found a reskin/resound mod of the AK-47 that make it the assult rifle from halo, and my kills with that weapons has almost tripled. Maybe it is just the power of childhood.

The sound is great, but it's also happening with every melee weapon. Not just the fire axe. Please fix it. I don't have any strange addons that could cause this. All I had active were skin mods.

This reminds me of halo 3 with my father, mongoose baseball. Someone would get on a mongoose and the other would knock them out of the map with a gravity hammar. It was a fucking odd game if you asked me ( the creator ).
