@Færün figured out how to separate Armor consumable vs spawn so now you can have the spawn set to 0, but set the edibles to 1,000,000. Tried to do it with the health as well but I'm too tired. It's 3 in the morning. 😢

And if someone wants to cheat they're not going to use a max health command that works for everyone (or all admins) they're going to use a HP command or more likely god mode. or the console. Again I mean no harm my man. But there are improvements we can make

No sir that hard limit does not exist in Gmod. There was a 255 limit in HLDM servers but thats not a thing in Gmod. Use my linked mod and you will see you can. The reason their health never goes above 100 with consumables/not-scripts is because you're not actually Changing the Max armor value. You're running GetFullArmor (which is 100 by default) + sv_player_max_armor, at spawn, to give the player armor. You're not setting SetMaxArmor to sv_player_max_armor.

@Færün And armor has a hard limit of 100 It has a soft limit of whatever you want. Meaning you can set the armor to high as you want but no consumable will restore it over then 100.

Health commands worked from the door but the armor command is false advertising at best. Reading the comments, all I can say i dont see why you'd do calcs for GetFullArmor, preventing you from changing the Actual max armor value; When in theory you should be able to call back to ur max armor Cvar and use That as a pointer for the armor to give on spawn. How does it make sense that i can set my spawn armor to 100000000 but cant change my Max armor to 65 because "that's too cheaty". I mean no disrespect I just dont think you're thinking that through.

@Færün You might have to clear the Garry's Mod Workshop folder. Example location. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\4000 or Example 2 location. D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\4000

@Færün Just tested on another computer with a clean copy of Garry's Mod with no mods other than this one. And it's working perfectly fine, so I'm extra confused.🤔

@Færün Just removed it from my workshop folder and verified it so it would force re-download it and tested it. It is running just fine. So I have no clue why it's not working for you.

@Færün the mod commands don't take effect until you respawn your player.
But if none of my commands work then that's weird it could be trying to download the older version for some reason what was completely broken.

Also I am madly in love with you for uploading or reuploading this addon. I'd been using WeaponSets + ULX at spawn to set my max health; for like 3 years. I dont have to do any of that anymore thanks to you.

Im no coder at All but im one hell of a googler and the armor command was not working, set to 65, even with all addons disabled and reinstalling. well, I disabled all my mods and slowly re-subbed them. And the mod I linked caused the health and armor commands to malfunction. I unsub from it, this mod works again, repeat the process. so yeah. But otherwise we cool

@Broccoli, nyu. are you running a branch version of Garry's Mod under the beta section because i stopped repairing mods for that because it was too unstable if not ignore this message and continue with the message before this one.

@Broccoli, nyu. I've have no idea what's causing it and can't reproduce it. The only thing I can think of is disable all your mods except for this one and slowly re-add them until the problem shows up, Because the mod you link had no conflicts with this mod.

Update: So I think I found the culprit. Apparently it doesn't like this parachute https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=105699464 at least given this past Gmod update.

Strange thing is there were no errors indicating this in the console. Sorry about the spam.

I hate to keep bothering you, but I've noticed patterns. It would seem that, at least for me, the addon has grown so unstable that I can't so much as download a new addon without it malfunctioning and getting this error and nothing, literally NOTHING short of a full reinstall fixes the issue.

I'm not sure what an EG admin mod is. But I'll see what I can do. It's frustrating but Im kind glad it's just me cause I love this mod. And I've seen gmod updates completely f*ck mods up.

I just tested it in multiplayer and single-player it is running just fine either you got to delete the mod and reinstall it or you got a mod conflict E.G admin mods don't like this mod, You can always disable all your mods and re-enable them, 10 mods at a time, until you find the issue, Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

IDK if this is just me, but I got this error trying to use these commands, my health has continuously started at a measly 100 and I'd hate to re-install gmod again, but I got this error when I tried to use "sv_give_armor_on_spawn"

Yeah, luckily it was just me. I had to reinstall my gmod entirely ;-; but its better than this awesome addon getting f**ked up by an update

@Hail To The Sid, You can force it on just fine with both mods together if you want to set your health to 1000 using "sv_player_max_health 1000" then force it to 1000 using Custom HP v2 you can ...instead of killing your character, enjoy
