Update on my previous comment: turned out that fully restarting the game helped - now they can use the new objects.

Unfortunately, the new items seem to be not working in my game - no colonists ever use them. I even made a test save where colonists don't have any other sources of joy, are bored, and told to do recreation all day - still nothing.

And what sucks the most is that the log doesn't show any new errors so I'm not sure what can be done about it.

The Retro Armchair is not locked behind complex furniture like the vanilla armchair is. This is a bug.

It can be fixed manually in-game by using RIMMSqol, but it should be fixed in this mod instead.

@Chicken Plucker Those who are politically correct can go be politically correct someplace else. And those that force their pseudo-religious politically correct beliefs on others can go do something unpleasant to their no-no squares in an unpleasant fiery place.

Thanks cp for the update. 2nd favorite joy mod next to shooting Target and melee dummy mod. Love the retro objects. Reminds me of happy days.

@Micro Jordan - EL JEFE LOCO - Just tested it right now with dev mode, minimal mods installed and used the "-20% joy" test on pawns. They used the D&D table and also the rock em' sock em. Lastly tested on the Rimtendo and they used that too. I believe another mod is causing this or perhaps they just haven't had the chance to use them yet.

Hey cheers guys sorry I'm super tired as always and with all the business around I've been too busy to respond and thank all of you so I do now. Thanks for the support, with the past issue regarding the chair and political correctness, I can safely say it's not worth the trouble. If some people found it inappropriate to be in a mod and felt compelled to speak up about it then sure, the mod is here for everyone and it's not a place where there needed to be conflict about things since we come here to play and have fun.

Political correctness always makes me laugh. It's just a great mod, and a funny joke.

Just found this mod today. Love the D&D table as a huge fan of the game which I got into back in the early 80's. I don't know what all the fuss was about in the comments, but I wish you the best on your deployment. Stay safe dude!

I'm gonna be gone from modding soon, basic training, and I'm thinking I don't wanna come back to Steam from being cut off to the world with about 100 messages, 50% of it is about some joke I wrote 2 years ago.

Did you know I removed the joke before but people wanted it back? No of course not. Cause you don't know, other person didn't know.

I appreciate you're trying to do the right thing, but the anger is misplaced. I don't want to talk about this here, if you want a serious conversation, we talk in private. I don't wanna make a discussion about what's right and what's wrong in a furniture mod, I've edited it and it's done.

That being said, I don't think you were doing that out of malice, it looked like you just didn't know better, and hey, that's okay, no one pops out the womb knowing everything. Listening to people with different experiences than yours and learning from them is one of the most important things a person can do. Because of that, I'm willing to extend the same consideration. I'm not religious, so I dhadn't thought about how me saying "for the love of god" casually would be upsetting to someone that is religious. But now that I know that upsets you, I'm gonna not do it. I hope you can extend that same courtesy to trans people and understand why what you had previously said would be hurtful towards them and that would be your reason for editing the mod, rather than simply doing it so people stop complaining. Understanding *why* people were upset is important

@Chicken Plucker the reason people have gotten angry with you over the last year and insulted you or blasphemed god and all that is because what you saw as just a harmless joke was transphobic and was harmful and dehumanizing to the many trans people in the Rimworld community. Especially when that specific transphobic "joke" has been repeated relentlessly by transphobes online for nearly ten years now, people understandably get mad.

I've changed the description. Very tired of the complaining after 1 year of it. What I find ironic is you get to go blaspheme God and think that's okay, and then the person before you complaining gets to insult me instead of asking nicely and that's okay, but according to both your moral laws what's not okay is a joke about a chair's gender in a RimWorld mod.
