I'm having the same issue as below... icon/meshes missing for some reason

no old armor mods work anymore is it just me? cause i don't see any comments about missing icons and mesh.

Love the armour and looks so good, it didn't really make sense to me that ll of UC army used the samurari armour and I like how this make them look more like a conscript based army which seems more fitting with the lore instead of everyone having beautifully crafted samurai armours.

Put the armor on her, go to a surgeon and have her breasts enlarged until the metal plate looks more aesthetically pleasing.

love the mod but I have a little problem with it. My female characters chests go flat when they put on the armour. Is there a way to fix this???

I remember stopping using this mod because that armor is just too strong. It's as strong as samurai armor and without any real disadvantages beyond having to unequip it when stealth.

Because of its visual style, I wish it had been an armor with 100% protection on arms and torso, but weaker in resistance. That it had as an advantage only a comfortable acid resistance (60%) and was totally neutral with the skills, without advantages but without disadvantages. "A thick padded cloth garment with a modest iron plate that will prevent receiving a direct hit to the heart, its little protection makes up for it with being light and comfortable, used by soldiers without rank but also by those who value their mobility"

May I integrate it into my Kenshi mod？I really like the mod you made.

i'd love it if the metal looked more shiny and the armour had shoulder guards

i wish there was a version of this armor that looks more authentic to feudal japan, not post-apocalyptic

Anyone have no cut efficiency patch for this?

I love this armor however i found it a bit disappointing that the mod replaces a majority of the UCs armour lists and means there is a lack of variety in armour worn by soldiers... as such I edited this mod so it no longer changes the UC soldier equipment lists from the vanilla values, only the samurai police get the change and damn does it look good as a exclusive to police armour set! here is a pic of what to remove if anyone else wants to download and edit this mod to their needs https://imgur.com/gallery/RKPoKJY

Hi! I am the developer of the Second Life of Kenshi mod, can I include your mods in my modpack?

OK man I have been looking ALL over the UC territories and I have searched Every armour and research shop, I have not found any vender that sell them or the blueprints. Any clue as to where i can find them, do I need to move the mod lower on my mod list?

Would be perfect if it didn't have the grey tunic underneath so it could show off what you're wearing in the undershirt slot.

@Blaximus I honestly don't remmember, I think I just gave it to the gate guards in UC cities. You can open the mod up in the mod tools that come with the game and check under changes. It'll show you who has them.

Does this have stats identical to the police armor? Also, would these be found exclusively on the NPCs you would expect it’s counterpart to?

Hey Niiya, I was planning modding a city into kenshi, but I was wondering if I could use your armor mod for some of the guards

@Niiya thank you for the instructions on editing the mod to remove it from the samurai gate guard equipment list etc, I currently have this armour set to spawn on only the samurai police and I thinks it looks great while keeping the the rest vanilla.

I really like how this looks in game. I like to sort of patchwork my people's equipment so that there's a big variety and the ashigaru armour has quickly become a staple

May I use this mod in my own? I'm making a patch/overhaul using Kaizo as a base (Unofficial Patch I suppose you'd say), and I want to integrate Ashigaru Armor into it, because 1.) Gear changes are the main reason I'm making it, and B.) I think Empire needs something between Samurai and Conscript Leather.

I'd like to have it integrated into/required for my mod so it works properly. Hope to hear back from you.

is there a patch for No Cut Efficiency?

Hi! Do you know if there's a patch to avoid to fix clipping with most pants? I like the model, but it clips with any pant my characters wear.

You can open the mod with the FCS and remove all changes to the samurai guard gear tables.

Fallen Construction Set can be found in your game directory. Open that and in the second list tick only the Ashigaru Chest.mod then open it up. At the top of the window click the "Changes" button and then in the "Change List" right click on the NPC's you want to revert and click "Revert" then save the mod and you should be good to go.

Any way to get the armor without putting it onto samurai guards? I prefer to leave the guards in their vanilla gear.

I think it's a face skin I mashed up as a personal mod at some point. The mesh is Vanilla.

@Proteo I'm glad it worked out, to get a smoother fabric effect you may need to edit the normal maps for the armour. They're the blue-pink coloured .dds files. You might get away with just making the parts you want to be smooth flat colours instead of the slightly rough texture that's on them. If you want to get in to modding look up the official Kenshi discord. There's a few channels on there for modders that are really helpful.

@Niiya well, that was easy. Used last version of GIMP to select the Red parts and changed them a bit. https://imgur.com/a/ezOCs9n . I could not get that silky looking appearance samurai pants have, but that is beyond my abilities. Ty for the info and again, love this mod.

@Proteo I can't do that without significant changes to the mod but you can easily change it yourself with the texture files included in the mod. There's one that's a black background with red and green patches on them, you just need to increase the intensity of the red and green for the colour to be more vibrant. I hope that's clear enough.

@Niiya rly nice mod. Don't know how but this works with "Faction Armor Colors". I just get to the UC and the color are rly nice. One suggestion: Is it possible to give it more brightness, similar to the samurai cloth pants? Specially the main cloth body. Here a picture: https://imgur.com/a/ix02LMX

The armour looks really good but it's super overpowered. It has around the same blunt and cut resistance as samurai armour, and even has less drawbacks as other medium class armours.
