haven't fully tested it, but so far i placed a large and giant boat and was able to hop on them without issues.

Cookie cutters can not attack to the boat. (at least the largest one) They stand still next to the edge of the boat.

Me and my friend meet a funny glitch, whoever controls the boat cannot control the character after being electrocuted by the jellyfish or attach by other creature during the sail.... Also, after we wait till our character fixed, the boat can't move at all ( ´•̥̥̥ω•̥̥̥` )

I'm not sure does others meet this situation or it just us (´-ω-｀)

If you don't use the skins clandestinely, bypassing their acquisition systems, you can use the base game skins, from what I understand. Maybe you can see the code of this mod to adapt to yours (I don't know if this would work, I'm pretty layman on the subject)
