There is a typo in the description of the Wildebeest Bull: "./n/n".

They are patched on Alpha Biomes, that's for sure. The other mods would need to add compatibility patches, though

Hello! According to the values found inside the config pannel of the mod "Choose Wild Animal Spawns", the creatures from this mod and from the entire Animals Expanded series, don't seem to be patched to naturally spawn in one or more of the following biomes:
- Advanced Biomes (Continued)
- Alpha Biomes
- Biomes!
- Comigo's Greater Swamps
- More Vanilla Biomes
- Regrowth
- Winter Taiga

I thank you for bothering to answer my question even though it now seems to border on the dum-dum side. It must be some issue on my side since Alligators from your swamp animals mod don't have their eggs listed in the unfert. list... neither do cobras from vanilla and many others... the two list are not remotely close to one another in lenght. Oh well, I guess I'll have to find some other way to get my Crocodile based sweet rolls.They are like death rolls, but the opposite!

This is a vanilla game thing. All eggs must exist in both states. It’s a game limitation

Minor bug/anomaly: The list of items include unfertilised crocodile eggs, but crocodiles will wait until fertilised to lay their eggs... found out the hard way as I was playing a croc farm where I intended to make sweet rolls out of my extra eggs.

cheetahs are brutal to new colonies. non stop attacks. probably not enough small animals.

No, it's because you added the mod to an existing save. It's a known base game bug

Sorry if someone has already asked this - I tried looking and couldnt find anything on it so forgive me if it was mentioned. I noticed I cant auto slaughter animals from this mod. I assume its because many are reskins? I was just curious if it was possible to auto slaughter and I did something wrong or if its not going to be an option.

No way to fix it, I'm sure it's the same bug in vanilla as bear and polar bear all give bear meat.

Mod breaks venerated animal consistency.
Zebras leave horse meat.
Venerating Horses gives negative thought for eating Zebra meat meals.
Killing Zebras doesnt give negative thought.
Please fix it.

Is there really no way to let cheetahs nuzzle? I am currently playing an Egypt-themed colony that worship cheetahs and cats, and it does makes me sad and breaks immersion a bit :(

Unlike other "big cats" like lions in the Pantherinae, cheetahs are actually grouped into Felinae (the same subfamily as house cats), as indicated by their inability to roar (they can meow though! Pantherinae can't). Male cheetahs often form groups called coalitions, thus developing social behaviours (like nuzzling); in fact, cheetah in zoos is often kept with “emotional support dogs”. Cheetahs also have no record of ever killing a human. (I'm absolutely against keeping a cheetah as pet irl though! It's devastating for their wild population and any captivity smaller than say a football field is abuse)

Yes, we changed many animals to be more in line with 1.3 animal changes. Giraffes are not combat animals.

Hi I started to tame giraffes for my giant giraffe army and noticed that after the update they can no longer be trained to attack (or at all). It says need training intermediate and under the giraffe info it says trainability none. I have the adequate handling skill, I have not checked the other animals. Thanks!

Noticed Zebras don't give the new fancy caravan speed buff they added in 1.3, any chance that the vanilla animals expanded is going to get updated for that? Or maybe riding Zebras just isn't a thing haha.
