Hi, I'm here on behalf of the AT discord server. There are currently efforts underway to update and rewrite the base mod Android Tiers and the functionality of this mod is planned to be integrated. Would we have permission to use assets and/or code from this mod for this endeavour? I already asked on the page of the update, but wanted to make sure that you as the original creator also consent.

its taken me 8h of understanding nothing about rimworld modding, but I finally broke the hurtle this mod has had. You can now choose to create a Gynoid instead of an android at the table.

since the two other forms of this mod have vanished i took it upon myself to get this working with 1.3, still couldnt figure out a good fix for the table not making females but i did find [KV] change mirror can allow you to change gender for them after creation.

There we are. I hope it works for others cause it seems to work for me. I have error messages but I can't tell if they are from this mod or others and I can't be bothered to troubleshoot currently. I just wanted to play the game.

Absolutely clueless is my modus operandi, too! You can upload mods to the workshop by selecting them from the mod list while in Dev mode.

I may have made a few working edits so I'm going to do some testing to make sure I'm correct. Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm doing.

So far it looks promising so I just have to figure out how to upload it.

It is not, unfortunately. If someone would like to take over maintenance on this mod, they are more than welcome to do so. Just let me know so I can post a link to it in the description.

The authors of Android tiers should probably merge this into the existing mod like they did with Android tiers ++

I have the same problem that darkthalex has, really annoying having pink squares roaming around

i am forced to download this because for whatever reason, some androids are spawning as females and have no textures, so half the androids i find are just sentient pink squares

I was analyzing the files of android tiers and it seems they have support for your mod but only the [1.0] version

mod seems to be causing errors sometimes when they spawn in

Colonizer androids only have a maximum bio age of 10. It comes up with this in the logs:

I turned on the option in the mod Settings to allow the creation of A T5 robot in the character creation bar but why is it still impossible to create a T5 robot colonizer？

So I'm having two weird bugs.
1. I'm having the age generation error as described by @Orangentroll and attempted Their recommended fix, which does fix the age gen.
2. When using said fix I do not have any gynoids at all, no error shows up so all i can assume is the mod is not recognised when loaded before the base mod.
If I am missing a vital bit of info could someone point it out to me.

A patch of this mod and safeworkworld need to be made for research purpose

To anyone having issues with unbuildable gynoids, I recommend using Character Editor. You can enable the tab to be available while playing, so you can just quickly change their chassis and gender after they're made.

Have you figured out how to make constructable gynoids or was my T3 blank gynoid a fluke?

Load this Mod before the Android Tiers mod.

Androids that spawn 'off screen' instead of being built by your colonists have a 50/50 chance of being masculine or feminine.

considering i've had androids i built be female i'd say that is entirely irrelevant

Given the issue with gynoids not being buildable, does that mean that if I am playing with the "androids are rare" setting on, this mod will have bugger all effect in my game?

let me correct myself real quick they're not all females just mostly female but that might be a
mod settings fuck up on my part

i think this is a bug from this mod so i'll mention it here for rim 1.0 all androids even the ones i built spawn as female and have a texture glitch i have no idea why and the log doesn't give me red stuff related to any of the android stuff

@Mortagon That is because the Android Hell Unit mod is not installed, and more than likely a harmless error. (A mod that has yet to be updated, for that matter.) Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about it being "harmless", though. I know very little, hah.
