Hey, I'm trying to make my own ED reskin and wondered how you made the Niederbieber and Imprial Italic H helmets look less shiny than in vanilla and removed the dents they have there. From what i can see in PFM you are still using the vanilla rigidmodelv2 of those helmets, so how did you manage to make them look so different?

The Text and DB files are in the pack because i changed the auxiliaries to units which make more sense in my understanding. For example:

The Thracian auxiliaries were changed into visigothic auxiliaries.
The gallic auxiliaries were changed into suebi nivrenensis auxiliaries
and the auxiliarie swordmen/the scutarii infantry/and the lybian inantrie were changed in roman marines from different navys stationed in Italy/Africa/Spain. And many other auxiliaries were changed too.

So i had to change the names, voices and description fot them... thats why all the text and db files are i there.

It seems that quite a few files are redundant for a reskin (all the text files) and should be documented or removed to avoid confusion...

Ah okay. I understand now. In fact late romans looked like that. In this timeperiod it is possible that rectengular Scutums still was in use in some legions. But the Oval shields were definitly used, too.

i am just saying that the large bronze helmets and oval shields made me think of hoplites for some odd reason

@pharao: the roman soldiers this mod are using late roma Armour, Weapons, Shields and Helmets... dont exactly know what you mean.

Is it just me or do these soldiers resemble hoplites more so than roman legions? eh whyt fix what isnt broken

updated the mod, fixed many smaller gliches. Changed the armour of some untis to fit better their stats

Thanks. The question if rectangular or oval shields were used during this timeframe is as far as I know not exactly answered. So basically I let my own liking decide...

One small complaint here, based on the screenshots it would seem that none of the units are using rectangular shields, which I think is inaccurate for this period. Good reskin mod otherwise though, nice job.

Part 2 and 3 are both needed. As far as i can tell. I replaced many models with stuff from other mods but to be safe use part 2 and 3.

Hey Pizzaman6, thank you for your reports! I did the mod alone so reporting Bugs is very important for me. I'll fix the Bugs as soon as i can, but at the Moment RL-things demand my complete time and Power. So sadly it can last a few Months till i'll be able to work on the mod again. I know that you do some mods too, so if you want and if you have time to do you feel invited to take over the mod and fix some things or become the second member of this great modding team;-)

Actually from looking at the models in the Assembly kit, there are quite a few problems still. A lot of Auxiliaries are kinda messed up. A lot of the Eastern ones in particular don't have the right weapons, or have a shield even though they're not supposed to. Still some officers without weapons, too.

Please fix it soon if you can, just a few things to fix:
1. Palmyra Cavalry Officer
2. Auxiliary Peltasts
3. Gallic Rome Equites

I think the Gallic Rome Equites are messed up too.

Palmyra Legion Cavalry officer has problem with shield

Thanks again! I updated the mod and fixed some minor bugs:

- numidian officer now have a weapon
- gallic chariotdriver now have a weapon
- berserkers now wear wolfpelts

I'd got to say this is the Best Reskin mod for the ED DLC,and it is definitely my favorite one for all the historical reskin mods of RomeII ,But I think there is one small thing to point out for improving the mod to its perfection,I notice there always be a piece of decorated armour on their chest ,as you can see in the reference,https://i.pinimg.com/originals/42/d1/78/42d178681704d256312c823164bdc6d9.jpg , is there any chance to add the detail on? I'm not an expert of using mod Tools,but may be I can help for texturing

I've been following this mod with interest, and I've gotta say this is the best mod for Empire Divided. I wanted to point out a couple things that I noticed while playing. Gallic Charioteers are missing weapons, as well as the Numidian Auxiliary Officer. Also I would like to second Signore's suggestion to change Aurelian's helmet back to vanilla, as it's one of the most iconic things in the ED campaign.

Hi there, just wanted to inform you that a few of the Roman Cataphract Shock Cav are missing right arms. Great reskin, definitely my favorite for Empire divided, only thing I would change is Aurelian's helmet back to Vanilla, I feel it is more regal looking.

Just subscribe. Steam should tell you than the two packs which are needed. You can just click them and subscribe. But ignore their new messages of needed Packs!

Cant find Croc mod in steam how do i install this mod?

I reskined ALL units inclusive the auxiliaries.

Some have been changed like this:
Most low tier auxiliaries were changed into local roman militias.
Some into foreign troops, like all thracians auxiliaries were changed into visigothic troops, illyrians to semnones troops and gallic auxiliaries to nekkar suebi.
Some units like the lybian infantry were changed to roman naval infantry (cohors classis afticanae). Voices and names were changed to fit.

are the auxiliary units also changed?
