Yeah they are just renamed pngs. I never noticed any issues with the portraits displaying correctly, but if the format is causing problems, I'm sorry to say I stopped updating this some time ago.

All portraits are named as dds files but they are normal png files. By changing the name to dds will not change the format of file, this is still standard graphic. To change the format You have to use a program for that like Photoshop or GIMP (free of charge) where You can export proper file formats.

It should, though I haven't tested this in a long time so I'm not sure. La Resistance might have changed the file path for Franco.

These only overwrite existing portraits in /gfx which is a safe folder to mod and not break IM.

Adding new leaders or defining portraits for them to use requires changing files that will break achievment compatability. I'd like for this mod to forever be achievment compatable, so brand new leader portraits of mine will be in a second non-ironman mod.
