Can this mod get Basement Renovator support so Room Makers can use the Beggar in custom rooms? That would be cool I think

He simply just animate all beggar in vanilla game and since there're so many modded beggar, he can't animate all of them. If you have time maybe you can make an animated version of angle beggar as a second version. I'm sure some people including me will be much appreciated

@linyuheng2000 I can animate the beggar but it doesn't fit with vanilla beggars. Does the animated beggar mod add support to custom beggars? It makes more sense for the creator of that mod to add support to modded beggars.

Can you add animated beggar compatibility? I don't want this specific beggar to be static in the whole game

@TheScarecrowBB I think it's already compatible. This mod replaces normal beggars from angel rooms with angel beggars. If a mod changes beggar position, the new angel beggar is going to have the same position as well.

Can we add Eucharist to the item pool? sucks that an item that guarantees Angel rooms can only be found in Angel rooms. It's Devil counterpart, Goat Head can be found in Curse rooms.

@Chaon It depends on the difficulty. (donation = half soul heart)

Normal/Greed/Greedier: Can pay out randomly between 1-5 donations and a guaranteed payout after 6 donations.

Hard: Can pay out after at least three donations and a guaranteed payout after 8 donations. it's very likely that you will succeed after 6 donations.

Yes, eternal heart is one of the payouts. He pays out with sacks, eternal hearts, eternal chests or an item from angel beggar pool. Everyone has the same chance of occurring.

Does guaranteed payout mean that after 3 soul hearts (6 halves) he will always give an item. Was playing J&E, angel beggar took about 6-7 soul hearts combined off of both of them without giving at item. Did give 4 eternal hearts though, does that count as a payout?

Oh nice. Y'know after leaving and reentering a room with the angel beggar in order to grab more soul hearts I just knew there had to be an issue with it forgetting how much I have given it. Had been on my mind because another beggar mod mentioned fixing such an issue in their changelog.

An update has been released to add hard mode restrictions and rework the drop system. I hope it's more balanced now. Speaking of that, I fixed an issue which angel beggar forgets how many times the player paid after changing room, which reduces the possibility of getting something in return.

Even on normal mode the angel beggar with never pay out unfortunately. I've given them up to 12 soul hearts to one beggar more often than they've given an item.

@*Crimson-Y Yes, devil beggar in hard mode requires more payouts in order to drop stuff. Also Angel Beggar doesn't deal damage to Isaac, so in chapter 4 and onwards he still takes only a half heart.

Wait, is devil beggar different in hard mode or just cause he take 1full HP per tick from womb and on?
I'm pretty sure Angel beggar only takes halfsies the whole time :l

Hello, just wanted to point out that Bethany cannot interact with this beggar, making her sad she can't help them.

I was wondering if this was intentional or impossible to add, since she carries faith hearts and can stack a lot, curious to know what you think. Would it be OP since she usually has a lot stashed
and should Bethany simply not have a chance to see an angel beggar, maybe just having it removed from spawn rates for her since the only interaction she has is bombing?

I love this mod even though it's usually hard to give him full payment, the loot pool is great so it's worth trying to give him more hearts, I've been enjoying this mod and every time one shows up I smile. Thank you :3

@Aggressive Bloodshark Very unlikely. It'll be incompatible if a mod adds an object with the same ID as the beggar, but in this case I can fix it.

Will this mod conflict with other beggar mods?

It could be cool if there was a chance for the beggar to not have the paper on its face.

I was Tainted Eden, as player 2, and he didn't take any of my hearts. My guess is this is not coop compatible for now?

Now compatible with Repentance. Angel Beggar got new mechanics and its item pool was updated.
