To RoN's credit, 1900s and 1910s eras are really engaging even through 0 breakthrough and little soft attack (to balance out with the WW2 part.)
A big update for the sister mod is coming this month (Jan) so maybe the dev team can make up for the jank.

really is a shame y'all dropped y'alls mod for RoN, hopefully you choose to undo that decision at some point

@Dexert At the very least, create a "legacy" version of Rise of Nations using the contents of this mod. One that would be updated with patches, DLC, etc, but would remain separate from Rise of Nations and would not recieve major changes (unless necessary)

I honestly hate how buggy the Rise of Nations mod is, and I want this mod back. Most of us do not want - nor need - 1910 to 2030. Give us Totaler Krieg back, and sideline Rise of Nations. Or, at the very least, let someone update it and link that mod instead.

Everyone to play Totaler Krieg 2030 - WW2 go to HOI4 in your Library and right click it --> Properties --> Betas --> 1.8.2

It will revert your game to the required version to fully run this GEM of a mod, which in my opinion was far better off as Totaler Krieg 2030 - WW2 and not Rise Of Nations.

@pizdeczka, perhaps, but it gave us an opportunity to repair things without making the original TK2030 unplayable. Rise of Nations has come closest to the goal of making 1900-2060 playthrought possible. I highly recommend you to check it out.

What's the difference between this and the non ww2 version?

Is it me or do others get a error when attempting to load the game like "cant load Map" of some sorts?

Is combat the same as vanilla? I hate mods that change the way combat widths work.

Is there any hope that this project (or its successor, by whatever name the devs choose now that rise of nations is gone) will get off the ground again?

They got permission to use assets from a mod, but that mod was using assets from another mod and they didn't like the fact that Rise of Nations was using their stuff

As others have said, it seems like Rise of Nations is for the moment dead. It had the potential to be one of the best mods ever made for the game. I hope it can be brought back and the copyright issues that are totally unfair, finally dropped.

Don't worry. Rise of Nation is currently facing small problems with "copyright" claims. I assume it will be back online soon.

I guess Rise of Nations has died, disappointing it seemed awesome. Hope you guys find a way to resurrect it someday.

This mod is not going to work properly in the future. For a working mod: Rise of Nations. This is now the main project. It is unfinished but it has no bugs. The devs are working day and night to make it better. sadly it won't be compatible with la resistance.

I really love this mod, it's my primary mod. But yes, there are lag issues but i still believe it is fixable. Nice mod.
