1. Make sure all players have subscribed to mod on Steam
2. Start a new l4d2 lobby using VERSUS mode
3. Make sure server is LOCAL
4. Make sure the map you choose is one of the ones listed above
5. Start game and press "i" key to choose different props
Its overall a really great sub! We played it for 3hrs+ even with those little issues. Super fun. :)
I cant wait to play those maps again
Basically any map that it was happening on, it was the "hunter" being spawned at the safe area towards the start of the map but the prop was spawned on the side of the map closer to the safe room on the end of the map or somewhere in the middle of the map.
Dark carnival 1 map, hunter at safe area (start of highway)
Prop was by the motel rooms but hunter couldnt get into it because there was a fence and invisible wall blocking it.
Hard Rain 1st map, Hunter at safe area ( by the boat dock)
Prop was spawned on the other side the of the map that starts behind the playground area.
(That part is blocked off by bushes and invisible walls)
Parish 1st map was the example I just gave you.
(in the safe area) and then the "prop" would be spawned on the side of the Parish 1st map near the safe room. There was a fence blocking "hunter" from crossing over to that side of the map so "prop" had to kill itself.
You know how there are invisible walls and some fences that are used to block off us from certain parts of the map?
What was happening is at times, is that at the beginning of the round whoever was a "prop" was getting place on the inaccessible side of those invisible walls or the fences.
We would have to keep killing ourselves by switching teams since the "hunter" couldn't reach the "prop". Eventually after a killing/switching teams it'll correct itself the next round but it would happen several times throughout trying to play on the map.
any solutions?
Though getting it to work seems like too much.. work.
