Yeah I noticed this recently as well. The connector hitbox got screwed one of these patches, so I build the elevation part and manually attach it with a tug boat

Another question on your turrets, I'm trying to wire up a version using some modded weapons, but there seems to be a 1 small block deadzone directly over the azimuth connector preventing building the elevation connector. How did you get around this?

No. They are fully piped into the ship's conveyor network.

One thing I find about your mods mate is that the write up about that is very well written and contain a great amount of detail. One of the reasons I love your mods. Don't get disillusioned by that other rubbish (plagiarism); a great deal of us out there appreciate your hard work and wish we could do as well. Keep it up mate!

Oh and as of a while ago I was trying to find an exploit to get safe zones on ships... I was partially successful... but Keen kind of thought about that to. I'll let you and the other guys know if I find something useful.^^

Always good to see, that you too keep your fleet up to date... I've updated my ships with your radar script and droned them via your modefied drone script... furthermore I've used the tripwire timer to launch guided missiles while in "AI mode"... it does feel different to be on the recieving end of one of your guided weapons... But I still have to try your decoy launcher approach. That is definately something I need. Totally going to steal your idea for survival playthrough. XD

Fair... though there isn't really that much interior space to begin with. I did try and make sure that the power was relatively spread out so a single hit wont cripple you haha. I may go ahead and make some interior adjustments. I hadn't really messed with the conveyor system in a long while so that seems ripe for some adjustment :)

Although, seeing as the nose is the only really armored part of the ship, that may be the best place to put them, and the decoys should in theory draw away the fire. Turrets are stupid though so sometimes they just ignore decoys :/

You can print out the subgrids individually in survival and simply attach them to the main grid, it's not that hard but a little time consuming.

Until Keen gets subgrids to work in blueprints, the closest you can get to multi-grid blueprint is if it has Connectors. :steamsad:

I don't know much about it's affect on performance, but I figured at least a booster would work. (a single gen and mass block that you can toggle on/off.)

Gravity drives are cheese and I refuse to use them. They are also abysmal for performance. Personal preference :P

If the ship is all about speed, why not add a gravity booster or a full gravity drive so it can outpace ships in worlds without a speed mod? (Grav speed limit is 104.38 where as others ships are limited at 100)

Though I'm going to try and release the turrets in a single grid attached to sprues, much like a modeling kit, so they can be built and later assembled in survival :)

Other ships/stations that utilize the same docking collar scheme like AAM, ACI, TNF, MTF and of course WMI ships :)
