uset g_brake_intensity "0.5" //max = 3 - is very good work! (tested in ATS 1.46)
- uset g_cabin_suspension_stiffness "0.5" //range 0.0-??
- uset g_suspension_stiffness "0.2" //range 0.0-1.0
- uset g_trailer_stability "0.1" //range 0.0-0.5
- uset g_driveshaft_torque "0.5" //range 0.0-1.0
- uset g_truck_stability "0.5" //range 0.0-0.5
config_local.cfg:
uset g_brake_intensity "0.5" //max = 3??
I like heavy haul; finding one perfect brake-intensity for good performance for both bob-tailing and hauling is a work in progress ;)
C\programs(86)\steam\userdata\numberfolder\numberfolder\remote\profiles\numberfolder\config.cfg.
There ALL parameters can be entered by numbers except brake strength (config_local). Since update 1.46, driveshift torque in ETS and ATS can now be switched off using a slider.
When comparing texts and images, I noticed the following: The values for braking strength vary between 0.85 and 0.6 and 0.5.
In the case of suspension stiffness, the text shows 0.0, in the photo you have 0.2. What value are you currently working with?
What changes between dry and slippery is how the tire-to-road interface behaves.
I tweaked several o\her truck behaviors, too, but they're identical in both mods; for example, my AirSeat-Ride settings are included in both dry and slippery mods.
Remember, tire choice matters. On multi-axle owned trailers I put better-grip tires on the most rear axle, which provides better trailer control when using the trailer brake on slippery surfaces.
For winter feeling I use the Grimes winter mod (https://grimesmods.wordpress.com/) or do you know a better one? - He has his own physics mod, which I would like to overwrite with yours. Of course, he must have programmed other values and the controls there are all on the right. In the game, however, I found your applications better - so it is very important how I set the rules. Hence my question - the controller settings for summer and winter are the same for you. is it correct? Sorry but I want to play it perfectly - lol
Adjusting the sliders is of course also possible - but how is the value to be understood?
0 equal left - 1 middle - 2 right ?
And in your winter physics you only adjusted the braking intensity? correct, right? Slider left of center - does that correspond to about 0.75? No changes to the other parameters?
Sorry, I'd like to play perfectly, hence my questions...
best regards
At least TWO config.cfg exist: one in the main game folder. and one under each profiles' folder.
Do not enter lines manually. If you don't see them, you're in the main game's config.cfg.
in your PROFILES's config.cfg, they look like this:
uset g_cabin_suspension_stiffness "0.5"
uset g_suspension_stiffness "0.2"
uset g_trailer_stability "0.1"
uset g_driveshaft_torque "0.5"
uset g_truck_stability "0.5"
adjust only the numbers
(g_cabin_suspension_stiffness "0.5" adjustable text editing in "\profile\###\config.cfg")
- (g_suspension_stiffness "0.0" adjustable with slider or text editing in "\profile\###\config.cfg")
- (g_trailer_stability "0.1" adjustable with slider or text editing in "\profile\###\config.cfg")
- (g_truck_stability "0.255" adjustable with slider or text editing in "\profile\###\config.cfg")
I was able to edit the first value for the braking force in the Config_Local. But in the config (steam profile) I can't find the entries. Best regards
