can somebody make a mod where when you hookshot you only let go by pressing the button again? my thumb always hurts after taking a long journey with somebody else against their will.

@Bulbaquaza - I will most likely just blacklist the VC map to begin with, then see if I can find a way to implement a more sophisticated way of detecting an active VC match for modded VC levels. If possible I'd also try to make it a setting that defaults to off instead of a global disable, for people who'd like to run the mod in private VC lobbies.

Question, will you make it so this mod is disabled in Vanessa's Curse? I could see this mod being used to cheat and tag others as the seeker by grappling onto them.

@Bow Kid - I just pushed an update with some bugfixes and a new config option that *should* prevent other players hookshotting to you (and you to them). It might take a while to have an effect, since the hookshotting player needs to have the latest version of the mod too.

2. Find another person with this mod.
3. Let them hook to you.
4. Jump and immediately hook to them.

It's suppose to work on all players however recently I barely see the hookpoints on the players. I don't know why, the mod is enabled but no hookpoints appear.

If you leave this mod on for long enough, say 12 hours, with a heavy traffic lobby like "peck," the game can't cope with the amount of memory being used by the mod and crashes. There's some memory leaking issues with this mod. Without the mod I can go 36 hours in "peck" without crashing.

@Zeon There's apparently a Steam-wide issue with Workshop mods currently. People having all their mods redownloaded etc. You may have to wait for Valve to release a fix.
