Can the pgup and pgdn keys be remapped? Those keys don't work in game for me

Just noticed and DL'd your TpF2 version, though I do not yet actually play TpF2, only own it. I get much use out of the TpF1 version. A good many of my 'Scenic Excursions' train-ride videos utilize one of its 'loco-side' camera positions.

That's an old topic, see the discussions here and on transportfever.net . Those keys are fixed and can't be changed.

Is there anyway I could change the mapping? As I have a Lenovo and as such the Pg Up and Pg Dn keys don't actually work for me. I would really love to see this work.

This sounds great. I guess it will be just the job for some locos that are facing backwards, also I found one of the Volvo trucks with grain cylinder has you facing the wrong way, so hopefully that will be sort as well.

I chose the views, so that the whole vehicle can be seen, for example the plain views are adjusted to the largest plane (concorde). And to see a bit of the environment is nice too, I think.

at resolution of 1920x1080 the item (plane/train/etc) 3rd person view is so zoomed out that is a bit pointless to have... would you be able to add couple more views where the object is 50-75% zoomed in from current settings?Thanks

This is not possible via modding. The keys are only controlled by the game, in fact, UG even forgot to implement the opportunity to change the camera keys, so they are fixed to PgUp and PgDown.

Is it possible to add hotkeys(PgUp+1 …or something similar) for preferred views?

Update: With the new version some views have been added, especially for airplanes and people. You can now follow people everywhere, through the train station and into the bus or train, but it doesn't always look perfect from the inside, of course. Also, the view of the train driver/cockpit in the aircraft, etc. and the view of the first seat of each vehicle have been added. Have fun!

NO Porthole Perspective for plane？

@christianmc1101 Mein C2 Inspiro, C1 und BVG H und demnächst auch Tram Variobahn und Avenio (TZ) haben eine 90 Grad Kamera.
Ist aber fest und nur bei meinen Mods so eingestellt.
Das Problem ist, dass nicht alle Fahrzeuge gleich breit sind, wodurch allgemein 90 Grad Kameras schwierig sind.

@Killiberke I heard of some people having issues with the keys on laptops... But since you said you are new to the game, did you make sure to activate the mod in the game?

I'm new to the game so I may be doing something wrong, but this mod doesn't seem to work.
When in first person, I press PageUp and PageDown, but nothing happens.

I thought it might have something to to with those keys also being used for road elevation, so I set them to different keys... but still nothing.

I hope it's just me being stupid because I'd love your mod to work.

@christianmc1101 bei dem Bild ist es die 20° Ansicht. Eine Seitenansicht gibt es schon, die ist in der Mitte, also vorne, dann 90°, dann nach hinten. Allerdings habe ich die auf den Zug gesetzt, damit man mehr sehen kann, könnte man aber auch tiefer machen theoretisch. Was den Glitsch angeht, kann ich nicht viel ändern, das liegt an der minimalen Render Distanz vom Spiel.
