since this has online support i can only imagine the horror of seeing a goopy amalgamation of verticies and faces dribbling coming towards you to consume all thats worth of your player as you watch in horror as it grabs you and sends you to its own personal hell

That's the transcendent dye with the rainbow effect applied!

There's a bug that is causing the NoShading option to have inverted effects on Hat Kid's hair, as raising its intensity makes everything brighter but makes her hair darker. The second bug is that the Aquatic option does not effect her hair at all. Bow Kid and even other playable mods don't have a problem their hair, but something is causing these two effects to not properly display on Hat Kid's hair.

It's quite literally just a much more outdated version of this mod, it was exclusively the rainbow effect and it was basically my introduction into modding

You can enable/disable it from the mod menu! It isn't a badge because I didn't want to waste any slots for people to wear it.

From what I've been told, Online support for this would be either extremely difficult or essentially impossible, as online players do not support status effects, which is what makes this mod work.

If it ever does become possible though, I'd definitely be willing to look into it.

This isn't a dye because the entire point is that you can combine it with dyes as well. It's also applied as a status effect which interferes with how dyes work anyhow.
