He's fun but honestly pretty overpowered because he 1 hits most enemies and the need to never craft an axe defeats the whole point of the game. He's well made and true to the movies, except for that he reads gravestones and sometmes he will talk when inspecting

Couple of ideas you might want to consider:
1) Aggros pigs. Jason is pure evil, kills everything and is a 'bad guy' so it would make sense.
2) Offer a base DR or a slow health regen. Jason could take a massive beating and healed his wounds quickly.
3) Double sanity drain during heavy rain. Jason was drown and as such is afraid of water.
4) Saniry loss when near oceans? See 3. Though this isn't as necessary.
