Yep, this mod is discontinued as I lost the original blueprints and code for both of my encounter mods. I have tried to restart on both a few times but honestly I have completely lost interest in SE over the past few years. I have updated the titles and descriptions of both mods to reflect this. Sorry.

Hey Onyx, just curious - are we able to continue using this mod, and then slot in the replacement when it is ready? Or will they not be inter-compatible?

As in, threat score or when you go to the GPS?

For threat score it is relatively late game. I am sorry if you feel like it is not balanced, but I am working on a new MES mod which will utilise RivalAI, so it will be much better and I will take a lot more time doing balancing.

If you mean when you go to the GPS, it should be automatically spawning a few kilometers away in a few seconds from my experience, please provide further info if this is the case.

English is indeed my native language. All the modders responded in the same way and Dorimanx responded with that same message every time.

In case you are not aware, he took many mods off many people (including me) and then refused to take them down when the steam TOS clearly states we have permission to do that.

No you do not have permission to use any of these ships or any of my content in your mods. Given the way you handled yourself I cannot in good faith give permission on behalf of the people who submitted their designs for me to use.

Hello,
Me and my team like to use your ship models/scripts for our server,
My idea is to create a large NPC fleet under same faction to challenge our players in battle!

In order to do so, we need to modify this mod configuration to match our need,
During tests we may have to correct some ships prefabs if they found to be somehow broken.

Our mod will be silent and not popular. but public. so our players can load it when connecting to server.

We will be happy to add you as a contributor for our mod, and point back to your original thread.

We will Express our gratitude for your hard work in mod description.

(On another note, a large update is coming involving the boss fight, so I'd watch out :D.)

They spawn using MES (one of the 2 required mods) around the world occasionally. They will automatically come to you and attack using MES's built in behaviours. :steamhappy:

I'm sure you'll soon find Dauntless was made to push people onto planets, to stop people going into deep space never to be seen again, to add some challenge to space :)

I have been attacked relentlessly by (one at a time) DTLS.'Ares' Gunboat.
I see that ship is not listed in your mod but ti appears to be part of the Dauntless faction?
I have a bunch of other mods that spawn baddies too so it could very well be from one of them.

Thanks for the support! Currently I am working on some of the steam page things, but also learning how to use NPC Programming Extender, which is what I need to make some of those more advanced things possible.

I and several other gamer buddy's look forward to this "To Do" list that is posted. The entire mod looks to possibly be a MUST HAVE mod on most any server, in the future. Keep up the good work!

I also have a newer thumbnail available (which I can't update after the mod is made), so I will probably keep this as a "easy mode" version, and make a new mod that has more ships and features.

Until I learn how to do this BIG update, I will continue to use Planetary Cargo Ships to spawn my ships.

@TommyManGamingYT Unfortunately, some ships do not work with the NPC Programming Extender so I will need to revert back until I rewrite my SpawnGroups file to fit the NPC Programming Extender mod, though I will most likely do this and make my own AI.

I'll try to improve that! I just followed Splitsie's tutorial with help from Meridius to make them spawn in space, so I kept it just in case. Next time I am on SE I'll test whether it works without it and edit it accordingly. Thanks for the feedback! :steamhappy:

Nice Mod! I believe what u need on top of the Modular Encounters Spawner U need NPC Programming Extender instead of the OBSOLETE Planetary Cargo Ships..
