He is correct, well, halfway. Photosynthesis is when a plant makes its own food, using sunight as the energy, and using water, and carbon dioxide as the stuff that it makes the food out of.
So, in other words, he is correct, the water just waters it, but gives it stuff to make fuel from.
The sun is what fuels the whole process.

2 things. I have been saying to my that he should get a buff in the rain for literally weeks. type in wormwood and this comes up instantly. thank you. also does this still work. make that three things, do you still lose sanity from the rain?

I'm also going to make a mod that tweaks the healing of those items as they dont do very much

This is great, unless I farm spiders or something (a laborious task which I hate), I find it so hard to keep Wormwood at full health unless I use the Rot Machine mod to help with rot / compost wrap farming.
