@LOLCL, that is not how it works. The vassal's authority types does not change.
Also, if you vassalize someone as a corporation, do they become a corporation themselves inherently and thus can make more branch offices?

It's strategic resources.
It works if you don't change the descriptor.
1. Vassals seem to be able to expand regardless of the "Can Expand" flag as seen in the mod description.
2. Getting your vassals into a federation with you makes you unable to cancel some of the ongoing treaties, like research agreements, migration pacts etc.
3. Haven't seen the taxation oppinion penalty yet, even when running Heavy Taxes.
Other than that, the rest is working as advertised. The 3 points above are nothing major and you can play around them if you know what you are doing and know the game a bit.
Regarding vassals not expanding etc. - in my previous game I've got 3 Foederati who were land-grabbing whatever they could. If they are not expanding for you, I'd suspect a mod conflict. Try moving this one to the bottom of the load order.
