concrete plant -> cable -> windmill just outside the dust radius+concrete depot+wasterock storage?

I mentioned the tech bug to a dev, so hopefully a fix next update.

Working on it. I've got the if statement in the right location, but I'm just working on calling IsTechResearched function correctly.

Maybe make the MDS version locked to the tech, so it does not appear until tech is revealed, then somehow hide the non-MDS version from the UI once the MDS laser tech is researched?

I'll see if that is doable. The layout system does not like for loops or variables, but maybe I can throw in an if.

Perhaps create two versions, one with the laser and one without; if the laser is researched, lock the one without the laser, and unlock the one with. If they've got the same name, it should be transparent to the user.

Correct. If you do not have the tech, or a prefab for Drone Hub, then it will just lead an empty space.

Unfortunately, this layout system isn't completely implemented yet, so I had to leave an empty space instead of the MDSLaser because it would build the laser even if you didn't have the tech. You will have to place the laser or rocket system later when you have the tech.

Is this a similar thing to the Self-Sufficient dome? A Blueprint where it places multiple Buildings?

Hold onto your butts for a while. It looks like no one has made any building layouts yet, so I'm going to release a pile of these.

I'm not promising optimization, but a lot of standard designs that I use in my games.
