make a version of this but for sandbox gamemode and with default hl2 / gmod textures instead of the stupid cs:s textures

This sounds like an issue relating to another addon you have installed, and/or having too many addons installed at once. According to the Garry's Mod prerelease patch notes [wiki.garrysmod.com] (slated to release 24 Jun), there's a fix mentioned for users being booted to the main menu when addons use too many decals.

> Addons that use too many decals will no longer boot players to main menu when trying to start singleplayer game

If this issue still occurs after the June update is released, please let us know. For now, try uninstalling a few addons you no longer need, and see if that helps.

I think I have similar problem with below guy,(when access to this map, rejected to title screen) this seems like a problem related to item loading. When I open console after my access is rejected, there are many red lines of 'Attempted to create unknown entity type~'.

I'm not sure what would cause that behavior off-hand. Do you see any relevant errors in your developer console after the map fails to load? (note: to get to the console on the main menu, you may need to hold down ~ for a second or two)

I can't gain access to the map. Every time it tries to load, I just get returned to the title screen. What am I doing wrong?

Do you mean the rope holding the briefcase up? It should use the default rope material from Half-Life 2. Not sure why it wouldn't show up; it appears fine on my end.

I tried my hand at it just to see what I could do with the autogenerated navmesh, and... my game consistently crashes when it's done, and doesn't write the file. Not really sure what the issue is, and digging doesn't really turn up much—all the potentially-helpful Facepunch entries are useless now that it's shut down without any archive. :v

I'll keep looking into what I can do, but so far, things aren't looking great. If I can't get the engine to generate me a navmesh, I might have to lay it out by hand... and that just sounds awful, if it's even possible.

Unfortunately, not at this time. It's something I thought about looking into, but I've never done navmeshes/AI nodegraphs before.

You need to find a lever that spawns in a random location when the round starts and place it in its spot back stage.
