*correction they didn't have bar frames or eight wheel bogie tenders but the sandbox was moved below the boiler and had "much cleaner" lines on the 2511 class*

actually @SteveM4 if you want to I have an engine that you might want to take a look at (the Midland Railway 2501 class )a 2-6-0 built in 1899 by Baldwin locomotive works and a further ten were built by Schenectady Locomotive works (granted taking more account for british practice of Locomotive design than Baldwin with the baldwin class having "such as the use of bar frames sand carried in a second dome on top of the boiler, and eight-wheel bogie tenders") becoming the 2511 class but again only if you wish to take a look at it (and make a new MR locomotive as well) only found this photo which appears to be the locomotive in question http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms/mrs1903.htm Not a request or comisson but an offer

*Piston Rods*

Um just a quick headsup steve the pistons glitch out of the pistons on halting at the stations for whatever reason (not sure if this is happening to anyone else though)

Excellent, I must look for a suitable and detailed Map with short runs from mine to port.

Congratulations for your work !!, thank you very much for sharing. Without a doubt, it is very interesting to have these historic vehicles. Living memory of the railway cradle the United Kingdom.

I had no idea one of these was operating as late as 1863! Imagine seeing one of these next to a 4-4-0

I love your work

Thats another Hackworth loco I am working on. I will probably release this alongside the wagons but after Novelty.
olaf.reininga 2019 年 7 月 18 日 上午 10:10
what is that other early loco I see in the photos?
It aint Derwent, right? Derwent looks totally different in my current game

@GrijzePilion

They're probably not gonna make 1830 a starting year in Transport Fever 1.
Better hope that they'll include something of the sort in Transport Fever 2

May I suggest a cooperation with Gr1m at this point? His chassis for passenger carriages are already very good, and if one shortens them, you'd have an ideal freight wagon chassis. And regarding the bodywork of such vehicles, you could recycle already produced forms for that. The boiler of Sans Pareil, place on a single chassis would form a wonderful wooden barrel to create a wooden tank carriage, and a single chassis, loaded with several of the cylinders of SP, would create the picture of a flatbed truck, loaded with wooden barrels.

Novelty is going to be tricky but I'll probably give it a go. As for wagons, I've yet to attempt any freight wagon, however an 1830s sort of Nafey's carry-all wagon will be what I attempt.

Hope Urban will eventually take the hint and open up the game to the pre-1850 period.

With all these... lets say 'classical engines', we might need some 1830s trucks as well. One or two plank trucks for bulk goods, a low slung flatbed for steel, iron and building material, a smaller goods wagon than the current one and a wooden tanker, or maybe a flatbed on which several small barrels are stacked upon, in order to show early liquid transportation on rails? All of these would be running at low speed, and with low weight, so that the small engines can actually be useful with early rail traffic?

I take it Novelty is next then?
