No I'm staying inside but there's this one grass tile inside that causes the guards to get triggered if I walk over it, and I have to go through it to get to the rollcall and cafeteria

Um, maybe you downloaded the outdated version? It got fixed months ago. Try unsubscribing and subscribing again to download the latest version and tell me if it works.

The door to the exercise room gets locked at evening rollcall, meaning you're locked out if you're in that area of the prison when it's 10pm

There's an issue with the certain areas, and you get sniped when walking near perimiter walls, this occurs at:
Job board
Edge of showers
and bottom of the exercise room.
