Or maybe you find reading boring... or too much to handle
I can understand why if those are the case.
Other than that
IF it's true that you so happen to 'hate' reading for the sake of 'hating' then you'll more likely miss things that can help you along the way.
If you have the mindset to be impatient or 'believe you know everything' or that you're better than all the people, then in reality you won't have your mindset open enough to learn things, especially on stuff you like.
