agreed, bronze age mod should be in a game about ancient times, its just obvious, also beacuse there is no updates for imperator now and there is no reason to update mod

moving this to ck3 doesn't really make any sense to me. i understand that it's a much bigger and more active game, but everything from the map to the gameplay mechanics fit better on imperator rome. i say this as somebody who thinks ck3 is a better game overall- the mod should have stayed on imperator

The democratic beureaucratic structure is broken to Imperator - the Bronze Age, Egyptian monarchy is more closely structured to the Feudal systems available in CK3 to name one important difference...

I'll be releasing an 2.0 update to this mod very soon. Just have a little more patience. I've got everything running, I just need to adjust one or two things and i'll release it.

CK3 version of this mod is good. Problem is that CK3 itself is shit.
@The Imperial House why take it from workshop, if you can still downgrade Imperator to 1.4 and play this mod? Marius update is not that good anyway. Although if you genially like 2.0 version of Imperator, you should like CK3 too.

@Ay Tone I'm not being stubborn, it is just a difference of opinion. If you or anyone else don't like CK3 that is totally fine of course but mod projects are sometimes gonna do things you disagree with. That doesn't mean they are being stubborn, stupid or some other negative trait. This mod stayed on IR and was continously updated for several patches when no other ones were. Unless some new ones have appeared it is hard to say I've done a disservice to IR.

Also, there is no point bugging me about it so that should save you all some time. Update it yourself or ask someone else to do it. And I don't mean that to sound dickish, it is just the hard truth. I'm still appreciative many liked the IR mod enough to still be passionate about it, though calling the CK3 mod "shitty" is just unnecessary. But players at large disagree anyway.

CK3 is such a horrible foundation for this mod. Why be so stubborn about leaving it there? Imperator is good now and deserves mods like this.

@Quget Yes, as the mod is moved the old one won't be supported. Just adding Anatolia to the IR mod would be incredibly work intensive, so the IR mod would always be lacking. Also with every new IR patch the work load is more and more extreme. Maybe someone one day decides to do it, which is fine with me, but it won't be me.

@Quget Eh, debatable. Like I said before, *this* version of the mod is still better than the one they made for CK3, and it's nearly two years out of date.

@Silvia It's really not that good on CK3, if I'm being honest. I've tried playing Egypt a few times and it's just kind of shitty. The gameplay doesn't work well with CK3's system.If you have CK3, you might want to give it a try, but don't hold your breath.

@Dazric , thanks. I noticed even the interface is clunkier in 1.4.2. About the mod on CK3: do you think it is good? Isn't Ck3 about medieval and feudalism? Doesn't look like a good fit. But then the last time I've played it was an early version of CK2.

@Silva: Unfortunately, yes. There are a lot of features missing.

@Dazric, I got it running thanks. My question was more about the gameplay balance, features, bug correction, etc. Does 1.4.2 version lag way behind 2.1 or is are the changes subtle ?

Hi! I just got Imperator to play this mod, but just saw it was discontinued. Oh well..

Anyway, how far behind this is from the default game in regard to features? I see this is 1.4.2 while the default is already at 2.1 ? Does this make playing Bronze Age problematic or somethimg? Thanks!

An update for the Imperator version would be great, but who can blame them for keeping it on CK3? It probably has 100x more players than Imperator, so there mod gets a lot more exposure

Could have been, but my instincts say it's a highly unlikely possibility. Maybe the modders just like CK3 better. They've stated, however, that it's not returning to IR, and that's probably regardless of how many people say 'uPdaTe pLz.'

Being given access to something and being paid are two completely different things. Let's not get conspiratorial here.

@LupusAlerius I wonder if Paradox paid them to hop to the new hotness? I know a lot of mod developers were talking to them before CK3 was released, even had access to the game early so they could work on their mods! Maybe Paradox offered them said access if they moved the mod to CK3, since Imperator: Rome wasn't quite as successful.
