Can confirm, mod works fine, completely out of the box without any kind of custom folder needed as of posting this comment - February 12, 2021. Last major update was the "Definitve Edition" update of November 2020. No issues, AI works fine, model works fine, everything's good.

there's a theory i saw that said how gordon freeman was able to take on the military and have such good weapon use. basically, the HEV suit is made for the intention of science, but has a lot of weaponry aspects to it, like drug usage, armor, weaponry, and advanced movement which would then classify it as a military weapon and only military soldiers or operators could use it legally even though it was made for science only. so gordon freeman had to enlist in the military (maybe the training course was his military experience) and train enough so he can use it properly and have the correct authority to use it. he had no intention of using his combat skills and weapon experience until the resonance cascade which caused him to spring into action and pick up any weapon he could find. he also has proper weapon discipline but lowering it when looking at friendly characters and checks his ammo everytime he picks up a gun.

well I made a version that has a regular flag so you can check that out if you prefer it

I know so many people have said it already, but I have my reasons against the flag. Half Life takes place from any date between 2000-2009, and blue lives matter didn't exist until 2014, so, uh, yeah. Not trying to argue, but just saying. Still a really cool skin for the grunts, though.
