I (finally) finished making a personal mod that involved combining this mod with the Castle Crasher's skeleton mod (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1801103350) to let your necromancer summon those skeletons as minions.
I was hoping to share my mod with the community while giving both you and the other author full credit for your mods and general awesomeness.

Make his sword have 120(Night sword has 100 uses) or so durability with 68 dmg and a damage bonus to shadow creatures/nightmare creatures/shadow pieces I think 75% dmg bonus to those is reasonable given wolfgangs damage and his inability to wear armour.
I think Necromancer being good at beating down nightmares is a pretty reasonable power.
I think 15 health from nightmare fuel is ok as his hp pool is pretty low without real armour even if you do change his dmg resistance to 60% as I've suggested, anything 80%^ I would suggest nerfing the healing.
Also, can't move statues penalty basically forces him to ask other players for help with resetting ruins. I disagree with this penalty but it forces cooperation so my dislike for it is very biased as I simply like doing most of the things myself.
Just swap for broken weapon better than dark sword and noone willw ant to play him anyways
Otherwise he is pretty much "craft sword and swap" character atm imo...
Infinite Dark Sword with +7 damage and no Sanity Drain is quite OP, to have no consequences.

Also, giving him scaling damage reduction on boss kill, which resets on death is a better, albeit a more difficult coding task.
Moreover, most of his perks are about gaining sanity from abscure sources, which should normally take it away. That's pu**y talk for people who don't want to fight nightmare creatures-__-
Man up and do the opposite. Stronger downsides to sanity gain and a harder time maintaining high sanity levels.
Finally, finally... He's a NECROMANCER. Everytime I hear that word, I think of someone who wields the dead, summons ghosts or corpses to fight for them. If you could give him the ablity to build something like Merm huts, or befriend existing Merms you would be the best in my eyes.
Do it man, there aren't enough characters that make Merms their friends :D
Suggestions on how you could improve this
1. make him able to wear some armor for example those that make it easier for you to survive during either winter or summer.
2. make him regen sanity during the night and a little less during dusk he's a creature of darkness for christ sake.
3. killing innocent creatures grants you sanity
4. Monster meat has positive effects for him while Regular meat has negative effects on him for example loss of sanity and health
5. Pigs and the like should be hostile to him just like they are to Webber.
If no I will update the mod and then we will see.
Becasue for me it works. Even if I enable all my mods.
