Do not worry author because a majority of Han Chinese, Hui Chinese, Hokkien Chinese and true Chinese people are not easily offended by "hypothetical scenarios" according to the context provided. It is only the American Chinese and Mainland Wu teenage key board warriors who are triggered behind their VPN spouting "culturally triggered," remarks.

@xuhongkang Thanks for understanding. I want to just let you know that I didn't intend on offending the Chinese, nor anyone for that matter at all when I made this map. I did this for the sake of what if scenarios (even though in reality this would not happen at all, even with the lack of understanding I did have of the Chinese not invading other countries), and also for my extreme love for Japan. That is it. Anything else other than those is not what caused the creation of this map.

@Cole As a Chinese person, I can understand your inspirations for this map. But I'm sure given all the chinese people in the workshop, some will be really offended since China was invaded by Japan and never the other way around. Still, thanks for your work on the map it was a great concept.

wow, a good story, I think you can make a WW III map series, I'd like to play on a map that PLA is the defender.(you know, defending motherland is a really heroic thing to all the Chinese people, like me) maybe China vs USA next time? And will you make a USA vs Japan map? (China vs Japan vs USA? red alert? lol)
(BTW, PLA won't attack any targets if they are out of our territory and border, and PLA won't attack a carrier for no reason, unless it has entered our territory... and threatened the safety of our ships...Trust me, Chinese people are friendly :-D, because we... hate wars)

@Wolffe Commander But from what I am seeing in the editor, there are no APCs on this map. During production it did, but I replaced it with boats.

Finally, a WW III based map for me!

(Basically my World War III scenario is basically NATO with Pacific Allies vs. Warsaw Pact with Militia based Allies vs. the People's Liberation Army with the support of foreign mercenaries, set in an alternate timeline. One map I'd possibly like to see sometime is a Soviet or PLA invasion of Luzon, Philippines during a monsoon, but I dunno how it'll be possible to recreate a monsoon in Ravenfield)

The US fights them at some point in Japan, and it is after China captures this map. China wins if they take over the country, and uses it as a launch off point to invade the islands in the Pacific, thus ending the Conquest. If Japan keeps the carrier from being destroyed, then the Japanese will bring it's forces to invade China as a result of the attack, and call the United States to support them. Japan and US win if they capture the eastern part of China. If any side pushes each other out of the country, then as for Japan, they will use another carrier, and for China, they will pursue a carrier they found in the area, and attempt to destroy it. I don't know how it is going to go in terms of custom conquest, and I also don't know if it allows for the teams to occupy more than one area at the start of the game. We're going to have to see about that.

@theplayingguy This map (nor any of the maps that are pitting these two together, unless if SteelRaven adds in custom conquest at some time, then I might (emphasis on that word) have a story. They all are just scenarios I came up with, and aren't really meant to be connected. However, if we were to see what happened if I made this part of a conquest campaign, then here is the picture, A Japanese carrier patrolling Japan that went back to refuel at a harbor in Okinawa was destroyed by Chinese forces, if China wins the battle at least, giving them an excuse to launch an invasion into Japan to increase their country size. The Japanese calls the United States for help, but some airfields in the Japanese mainland occupied by the United States had been damaged by Chinese bomber planes.

It's a nice map, the theme is really interesting(I can't imagine the battle was between PLA and JSDF) but... I have a question, which country started this conflict?

And I'd like to give you a recommendation: the exact Japanese translation of "shoreline" is 「渚」or「浜辺」. The former is cooler for me. You can copy&paste them!
And one more: "fxxk vipmods" should be 「くたばれVIPMODS」!

@M2x'S b1G bAs5 Cs.Money I actually located the text in different areas for each variant. And as for the regular variant, it does have small text, but we will have to see about opacity, because if Unity allows an ability, then I will do that.

you should make the text for vipmods larger, just turn the opitcaity down so its almost impossible to remove

Sorry about the Vipmods crisis you and other developers having, but besides that I can't wait for Goose Green! (I tried making a goose green map using google earth sattelite and everything got deleted and I cried in the corner)
