Bounce mods redirect you to the Play Titan Quest character select screen after the bounce. You can start it as a bounce mod and then select your Main Quest character after the bounce, or you can extract the files along with your database.arz, and then overwrite the files and repackage them as a new database.arz so that you don't need to launch the mod every time.

Do I need to start it as a bounce mod or can I copy it to the appropriate directory in the game so as not to start it all over again?

@tg I think it does improve drops, but I'm not sure. What I know for certain is that it gives you more XP, and if you kill a boss that's much lower level than you, you get almost no XP, so it helps prevent that. But the main thing is probably that you get more epic and challenging boss fights. I originally made the mod as a component for XMAX- in my mod merge "Loot Plus XMAX FTW", and thought I might as well release it separately for anyone who can use it.

What benefit comes from that? Is there a greater chance for better loot?
