Hmm, i dont know about that problem seems The game has done some funky stuff to it, as i am currently not home i cant do anything about it, but if you want it to work i would recommend placing some linear tracks and connectors on The gear and fuselage keeping it from collapsing when forward motion is happening, if that doesnt work ill take a look at it when i Get home.

Only needs 4 boosters, i think 1 booster block on each site and a parachutel and something wich activates it, will be enought, so it would be just 4 blocks and that parachute, needs just a bit more space than the seat alone^^
