Probably it's because the description is in english. I've released the unwalled version in chinese, lets see if that helps. And the map is compatible with the latest update.

Por desgracia, no tengo el tiempo libre para hacer/mantener un nuevo better maps... Pero un mapa cada cierto tiempo si puede que haga. Y el editor no es para tanto. Esta lejos de ser la crashing machine que era en tiempos de Shogun 2. Una vez aprendes lo basico, es bastante decente... aunque este mapa es capaz de crashearlo igualmente

No imagino lo endiablado que habrá sido el proceso de diseño... ya probé en su momento el editor y me echó para atrás... xD

That's a bit hard, because we don't have their source files, so we can't edit them. We may be able to replace them with custom maps like in Warhammer, but... not sure about that.

@James This was made with the Assembly Kit you can download from Steam. It's a port of my "Aquitaine, Home of the Lace Tower" map from warhammer, so it was relatively fast to port.

I'll try to make more maps (and tutorials about how to do them) in the future. Just take into account these maps take time to be made. And about the campaign map,.... maybe. Who knows?

Verify your game files, and update your GPU drivers. Those are the two solutions that worked for me and for someone in the comments.

Crashes before entering the loading page, what should i do? my game usually doesn't crush with so many mods, but i can't use this QAQ

A mid-battle crash is usually a problem of the game, not the map. I've got a few of them in vanilla maps too. Usually, reinstalling the GPU driver helps fixing battle-related crashes (at least on my case).

damn i got it working awesome map and it just crashed half way through the battle, annoying because i wanna appreciate this map

Glad you liked it. And about the lag.... I play it on medium at 45 fps (4 armies) with no lag at all so.... unless you have an slow GPU/CPU, shouldn't really have any lag..... maybe get down your graphics?

Update: I played the map and it's very good and Shogun 2 custom map esque but it's so laggy.

You got any more of em custom battle maps incoming? Just looking at the pictures is giving me flashbacks of Shogun 2 custom maps, and I need more.

Ok, it was a problem with my game, just reinstall the game and it works perfect.

mmm strange, it might be i have some file corrupted in the game from mods installed before the workshop, even if i took all the files out, after the workshop was out, will try again later after re-downloading the game

Also, if you play it multiplayer, keep in mind that CA said there are some bugs while downloading maps. They recommend all you guys download it before trying to join the lobby.

Just checked against the AI with one of those mods and.... it worked properly. No crashes here.

That's... weird. AFAIK there is 0 conflict between those mods and the map. When does it crashes? Also, does the map work properly if loaded alone?
