i really want the map but it wont downoad for me.. please help

There used to be a moon base campaign. It wasn't finished though - was two levels - but man it was fun!

when I downloaded it didn't show up.

once i got on this ma i beat the first level and then on the secend one me and my teammates were stuck we didnent move

That's a typical steam workshop error, thanks for informing me.
I also have it sometimes - workshop also downloa and stops at a random % (like 32% downloading progress) and then it finishes instantly and the downloaded addon is nowhere to be found.

I can't do anything on it.. Let's just hope they fix it, in the meanwhile you can download it and install manually from http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=27024

if i start l4d2 there is written "Lunar Excavation Area [Survival] is downloading" and then that task dissapears and i dont have the map...

It should work. and if it doesn't, it's high likely not something I can do about (workshop not downloading, or thinking subscribe means instantly downloaded and done)

I will release an update soon on both l4dmaps and here, if it still doesn't work after update then i'm pretty sure it's not something I can do about.

That's odd, since that problem cannot be caused by me. Even if I did forget something (addoninfo.txt) , it should pop up as unnamed or somthing similair , but this cannot happen because addons downloaded from workshop does not use the addoninfo.txt but the name that is used on the workshop.

Try create a survival lobby and see if you can find the map. Workshop tends to skip downloading at times, so I assume you can try again later.
