The animated version caused loading slowdown or reduced fps or something like that, if I remember correctly. It's been a long time since I used it after it first came out. I had to switch back to the older version, but that lacks the superior cumulative recoil or muzzle rise or something when you do full auto in the animated version, I believe. Edit: Yes, back in Aug 2024. I said it causes several times longer Arma 3 startup.

The animated version is a hog, though. This version just needs the cumulative recoil feature so that full auto is even more recoil. Basically, we need the animated version without the animation.

Set the coefficient to -4. To understand exactly whether the mod works or not. The mod starts working approximately 6 seconds after the mission starts.

I have an issue where on the first shot i fire after the mission starts the recoil seems to work but all shots after the first are vanilla recoil.

LOL, as soon as you sent that the mod disappeared, mad crazy, the mod is good, it's just depressing how it doesn't work with weapon canting. Love the mod though.
