@The Erubian Warlord "Kadingir" is a Sumerian word meaning "gateway to heaven" or "tower leading to heaven." Quite specifically, it is the Sumerian name for the Tower of Babel.

Its use in DOOM 2016 is a reference to the DOOM 1 level E2M8: The Tower of Babel. It could also be an alias for the Argent Tower, which is more or less intended to be a portal to Hell. This is derived from the name "Kadingir Sanctum," which can be interpreted as "below the Tower of Babel."

Kadingir Sanctum is a level in DOOM 2016 its just me making a joke as ive never seen the name anywhere else
