Hi I'm using the Leaders of Legend mod, but I can't seem to get any Knowlagable Lord in my recruit pool as Dark elves, could this be a bug?

I really like this mod due to its simplicity - less chance of things breaking/incompatibility & having bugs. I understand not wanting to maintain 2 mods. But if you ever change your mind, I'm sure there are a number of us that'd appreciate your work.

Very minor update for new DLC.

This mod is deprecated and will not be receiving any further changes, use Leaders of Legend if you want updates and new content. I'm leaving it up anyways for people who don't like change.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! Yeah, a lot of vanilla traits are... ridiculously bad, and that's AFTER CA made them slightly less terrible a while back. I wish CA would make this and Leaders of Legend obsolete haha, I'd rather not have to mod this stuff to have not-crappy lord bonuses.

Works even with other mods. For example Chaos Dwarves also benefit from the new traits.

Such a simple mod which makes the game so much better. It's incredible how most of the traits are shit. With this there is an actual choice to heroes and lords beyond recruit-dismiss till you get Knowledgeable or maybe that 10% ambush chance increase. CA really needs to work on polishing their old content before putting out new ones. Godspeed Cryswar

For clarification, this mod does not add any new traits at all, Leaders of Legend adds some. It just edits vanilla ones.

I believe I actually removed the LL bonuses from this mod since people were complaining about it and used LoL for legendary lord bonuses and faction bonuses, but I'll doublecheck - if so, I'll fix the description, sorry for the confusion.

Btw 2 more things:
1- Leaders of Legend works flawlessly too, so I don't really know.
2- I love this mod! Just to be clear :D

Hi! I used to use the mod, then I stopped playing altogether for a while. I tried the game again with the new beta and downloaded this one. Sadly, it doesn't work for me, at least not the better traits for legendary lords.
I think I tried everything: Unsuscribed, deleted the mod, deleted the data, validated local archives, refreshed the mod manager (a tried both CA's and Kaedrin's), resuscribed, played with this mod alone... Nothing.
Is there something happening with the mod or is it on my end?

Is there some way I can get this mod to overwrite SFO traits?

This mod doesn't function. I've tried turning off all my mods and running only this and there were still none of the listed changes in the Google doc made to the game. I don't know how to fix it.

Hello! Is the ratcatcher trait only available to heroes ? (ranged) Its so rare and only shows up once every blue moon...

anyone else seeing 'Sigmar's Ward' no longer available with some Imperial Mages? Specifically Light Wizards and Jade Wizard's are missing the ability, yet Fire Wizards seem to have it. I'm not sure if it is this mod that is causing it, or just more likely a conflict - however this is one of the newer ones I've subscribed to, and my last campaign didn't have this issue.

do you think you could remove the lazy/procrastinator traits or make it so they don't trigger because being penalized for having a defensive army in a settlement is kind of frustrating.

Nice! It covers both Generic and Legendary. The difference between the mod you linked and the one i've talked about is that it does not add skill trees to lords, it purely boosts the stats of generic and legendary lord artifacts, as well as Dwarf Workshop artifacts. I feel you on the business, if you ever got time to make a artifact mod though, you'll have a passionate subscriber in me! Cheers

Leaders of Legend is literally just this mod, but it also covers legendary lords and faction bonuses. This mod exists for people who ONLY want generic lord trait buffs. If you have LoL, this mod can be safely unsubbed and ignored.

On that mod; does it cover legendary lord items or just the generic ones? Also a long shot suggestion - May I recommend ifyou have time to reconstruct artifacts? There used to be a great mod (but now the owner hasn't been online for 2 months) that improved picked up artifacts and it would be a great addition to your improved traits/faction bonus library. Perchance do you have any Movie type mods in your data folder, especially ones that may be outdated? They could be causing the crash, I can confirm that the mod run by itself DOES work fine on the latest version of the game.

Cryswar, for some reason this crashes the game on start up still. Im not sure why, even when its the only mod enabled it crashes the game. It's a great mod, it's very sad to see this :(

Updated! As stated a while back, I removed the legendary lord changes so this mod only touches on generics. Also fixed Wood Elf 'Talon of Kurnous' trait; there were 2 versions of the trait for no apparent reason so both were set to 12% range/damage to be roughly on par with Tactician (slightly better combat stats, but no leadership).

And thank you for your kind words Nega Druid! I don't intend to ditch any of my mods, but some like this one require very little to update for new patches so once I confirm they work I just leave as-is unless someone complains about it haha.

An update for S&B when you have some spare time would be really welcome! I don't believe it actually needs it, as it works and loads just fine on my game. Though it and Leaders of Legend could both use another pass.(Talon of Kurnous seems not to work right in Leaders, staying at 10% 10% boosts, which makes it less beneficial then the generic trait). I'd love to see this wonderful mod get updated and recognized in the new patch era!

the other Leaders of Legend (Lord/Faction Trait Overhaul).

Is one of them included in the other?
