Unfortunately there was a comnbination of underwhelming interest in the mission along with real life and I just haven't messed with this in well over a year. I sincerely doubt there will be any more releases. Sorry.

I would like to set up a server with these maps, but I have to ask, if I can place advertising of the sponsors of the server?.
The other question I have, what has happened with complete conquest ?, am excited about these update.

I'm currently working up an updated version, but Urban Conquest will no longer be the running title. I've added a lot of functions and since it covers a bit more than just urban combat I'm changing the name of it to Total Conquest. I still have to design my new graphics and set up more map layouts. I'll post here when it is ready.

Hi. i like your mission but its impssible to play at night becouse in some vehicle NV is disabled for gunners. I can understand why u disable TWS , but why NV?????? If u can please answer where in your PBO archive can i delete file that disables TWS and NV . i want it enabled

It sounds to me like it is being loaded as a single player mission. You can play it alone with ai, but you must start the mission from the multiplayer menu. Just curious, but is this being installed right into the single player mission folder from the workshop? If so I'll have to change it to mp only. When I say single player I mean it can be played alone, but that doesn't change the fact that it must be loaded as a multiplayer mission. Sorry for the confusion. I hope this helps out those that are having problems with it.

everything is really awesome exept this one thing; you can't respawn properly... yes, I tried to follow everything that was described in the "urban conquest basics" section in the discussions but, when you die, you have three alternatives; it says eighter, end, restart or switch team. So i take the best alternative because i don't want to end my progress. But then comes this screen of units you can choose from. I can choose from all the different teams, but all of them are wayyyyyyy of the combat area and you can ONLY be rifleman. And those black dots descibed in the discussions, yea, they exist but they are for no use. Nothing happens when you click them, even if you have or haven't respawned yet; they are completely useless, and so is respawning itself.

The CPU is definitely the bottleneck. I appreciate your input though. Since I write these missions on an I7-3770k it's not easy for me to see code that is stuffing things up for slower processors. Please give the updates a try as I release them as I will be attempting to address some of the more cpu intensive functions and figure out a way to distribute the load a bit better. I can say that the first minute or so of the mission will have some lags due to the fact that it is populating the map, but after that things should plane off a bit as far as stuttering goes. You can also try to tone down the amount of ai and vehicles in the parameters and see if you can come up with some settings that work a bit better on your system. Thanks for giving it a try.

@tvig0r0us CPU: AMD FX - 6100 GPU: Radeon HD 7800 (2gig) RAM: 8mb DDR3 nothing overclocked. My guess is there's a bit of CPU bottlenecking. I think what might be causing the stuttering is when units are spawning in. I'm not sure how many are spawning in exactly though.

This is the first complaint of its kind I've had for UC. I can assure you though that there is no way you can just load up a firefight in the editor and have it do what this mission does. I think to say it's unjustifiably laggy is a bit unjustified though. What are your system specs? I've done the best I can to optimize it, but perhaps there are more optimizations I can make for slower systems.

There are no weapon crates, yet. For the time being you will have to carefully pick your class and act according to what class you have chosen. If you're a rifleman you obviously shouldn't engage a tank. You can always pick weapons and ammo off of dead bodies also. In the future I plan to add some kind of weapons and ammo crates, but for now you will have to strategize without them.

A good idea but these missions are unjustifyably (sp?) laggy / stutterfest. Which surprises me because I can load up a much larger scale firefight in the editor and still run at 40 - 50 fps.

Where's all the weapon crates?? its hard to take on armor and heli's with a rifle.

Ahhh, Tvig, I remember playing your A2 OA version of this, I loved it, and I think i'll love this even more!

Are you, by any chance, going to make one for every single map that comes out for A3 like you did in ARMA 2? Great job on this, mate, you're a amazing scripter! :dollars:

There are many parameters that you can use to majorly alter the way these missions play out. I plan to create a detailed post regarding the available parameters, but in the mean time check them out. They are, for the most part, pretty self explainatory.

It's a great scenario as long as your system can handle it. Lots of units all over the map. Your FPS will drop big time.

To select a spawn point you click on the black dot in the middle of the zone. Zones that can be spawned in will be marked with a black dot in the center. The zone must be controlled by your side and will be the same color as your side when it is in your control. You select a soldier class by clicking on the black dot next to the class name. If you do not select one you will be randomly assigned a class.
