Team, how do I bind a key to taxi forward please? The text message comes up to instruct player on what keys to use for forward and backward taxi but for me it shows and empty field for forward movement. How do i fix that please? Cheers Jas

Increase that number, but I don't recomend because the chopper can get really unstable and buggy, recomend to test allot.

@Blast you can taxi with advanced flight, but it's also more difficult to fly. So this is a nice way to taxi without the bs.

You can taxi helicopters in Arma, that's why you're able to lock the brakes on the RHS choppers @Blast... I know what taxing means and it's not that difficult.

You don't need it, just place it in your mission like in the description, that means the players don't need to download that.

It's aimed at realism. People generally don't fly helicopters into hangars they Taxi them. sorry man not trying to belittle you or make you feel stupid just trying to inform you so you don't sound like you are. Milsim communities love stuff like this. the closer it gets to real life the better, thats why they aren't milsimming BF5 and COD.

It's not hard to air-taxi a heli but 1). It's more realistic this way and 2). a lot better for helicopters that are tall and can BARELY make it out of hangars; including the Kajman.

@Zoldorf Da Orknerd Is useless for pro pilots but useful for the majority of non advanced flight model players, and that does not hurt the "pro pilots" anyway, its just helps the average player

@Onisarius It is completely useless for pro pilots, since they all use advanced flight model, where you can turn the brakes for the landing wheels off, and then roll as much as they please, i would upload a video of me doing it, but it's such a simple thing you can even go try it out yourself, grab any heli with wheels, turn on advanced flight model in game options, wait for the helicopters RPM to rise, raise the "throttle" to about 10-20%, turn off brakes, push the heli forward slightly, and now you are rolling.

@Pablo Escobar You clearly haven't watched the video or played Arma. Auto-hover is used to maintain altitude and keep you centered in the air, this script allows you to move the helicopter on the ground like it is driving on wheels, or "taxiing" as it is known. This allow you to park a helicopter in a tight space or move the helicopter for a better takeoff position all while still on the ground. If you can show me video of someone taxiing a helicopter without a script in Arma 3 i'll suck your dick.
