@Agathorn that is so, but I'd prefer code that doesn't randomly change without telling me! As I said part of the issue is the age of the implementation under ARK it's quite an early version of the Unreal blueprint environment and it's editor.

@wuzzt really late to the party but RE your last comment, not that I want to defend Blueprint because I don't, but just as a tip you CAN select nodes or an entire graph in BP and copy them then paste in a txt editor and you will get text! That same text can be edited to some degree and pasted back. Not at all perfect but just another tool I thought i'd mention.

Best mod for Ark out there. Screw the devs who though this creature was a good idea.

Biggest problem is that it is such an old version of blueprint that they are using and the editor is flakey at best. I have a mod where everytime I touch it, some of the nodes disappear from the model, and I have to remember to add them back. Why anyone thought having a non text editable format was a good idea beats me! Give me C++ or script anyday!

and I'm a quite experienced c++ UE dev, and I know how much the devkit sucks, so you definitely deserved to be thanked for doing this :)

It wouldn't be so bad if you had a chance of getting non-edible stuff back, as you can with the pego! It does seem a bit of a lazy addition. Hence the mod Glad you like it!

Last time I played Ark was around 2016. Reinstalled it today, farmed for 30mn, got out my base, instantly got my 40 narcos stack stolen, went to the workshop, installed your mod. What a dumb idea from the devs...

Hi Wuzzy, thanks I think the wipe did the job, they are spawning now. :)

The existing ones should not have disappeared, until you do the wipe. New ones should spawn gradually over time as needed. Sounds as though you should try to re-install. Unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the mod, force it to re-download.

DestroyWildDinos will wipe all un-tamed Dinos, then new ones will re-spawn. Let your players know before you do it, or they may lose Dinos they are in process of taming!

How are you checking for existing Dinos?

Have you installed both mods? This one will only affect Ichtyhies!

Can you spawn one of my Dinos in a local game with only this mod installed? (use the spawn command)

After I installed all teh icthies and pegos have disappeared? is it because I need to do a destroyalldino command for them to spawn? on a dedicated server

Worked great for me! Word of wisdom for anyone experimenting with finding a good pego/itchy fix mod.. make sure you've deleted residual files of any other similar mods you tried after unsubscribing to them, because they can still affect the functionality of this one. So happy I figured this out, because I could not be happier with wuzzy's Low Steal Pego/Itchy mods now that I did! Thanks, dev!

I can't stress how many times they've stolen things that aren't even edible and "eaten" them. Stone walls? Eat. Cantine? Eat. Ammo? Eat.

Glad you like it! It was developed out of my own frustration I lost an early game tame because the full stack of narc I had just made got nicked!

It can really take the fun of ark when suddenly one of those ******** comes out of nowhere and destroys your top tier tool.
This mod is something I (and all other players) really needed. Especially as those bastards are extremly common in the south (where my current base is)

I haven't played a ton of ark as I only just got it but I can say that when I seen this mod I instantly subbed. These little fuckers were so annoying right out of the gate when playing. Thanks you for this.

Whenever I saw one of these little %#&#^$ in the distance I would immediately open fire regardless of what I was doing at the moment. Now I can just kill them for fun lol

One suggestion. Is it possible to have them target dropped items? Like if I wanted to kite them away from a particular area and throw fish meat on the ground to distract them while i ran away? I mean I am all about killing on sight but sometimes if I'm far from base and low on ammo it would be nice to have another option.

i hate this animal so much i would go back in time just to remove it from history. Thank you for making it marginally more tolerable

Latest update seems to have removed most of the bugs I had in the earlier one. Agression seems to be back to normal, the thing is no longer a crazed killer which will hunt you down without ever stopping It will now give up on you as per standard.

There are still bugs in this! so I would still recommend as above, use this on test servers only if you are trying it.

It sort of works, but I will revisit. I have it eating a single item, but I think it is still too aggressive. I am looking at trying to make it only attack if you are carrying meat/fish.

If you get this working, I will absolutely subscribe.
