Maybe place a custom door down to seal the breach? Use a wrench to fix the exterior door?

I was in the awful situation where an exterior door was smashed and no upgrade vendor in sight. So i was hopeing for a mid mission solution. BUT I will have a look since an auto closing door reacting to water is useful

Just for the editor, You can study it for in game wiring solutions.

is this just for editor or can I place them mid game?

Talk about useful. So much better than having to open 10 doors just to get to the reactor.

Modernized with an updated override system

Saw this and tried to figure out how to do it myself first. I gave up so now I'm subscribing. Thanks!

Its set up as a submarine not an assembly. the Mk2 variant will be an assembly.

for some reason this file shows up as its own sub...........

When I place them in an access shaft I remove the water detector facing the access shaft due to false alerts.
Just Coda 2019
Ah ha! Setting the delay to "Reset when signal received" seemed to be what was missing. This will fix the issue of the door opening and closing rapidly when one side drains before the other. (This behavior is more obvious when two of these doors are placed on either side of an access shaft.)
Just Coda 2019
Im sorry, I didn't explain it well. I have the Water Detector going into the NOT and a Delay, and from the Delay into the NOT. But it doesn't always seem to work. What I tried to do was trigger the NOT signal quickly so that the door closes faster. Otherwise the door cycles open and closed quickly.
However if you delay the response more water will be let in. Maybe a delay of .25 will be more useful.
A delay does seem like a useful addition. I'll add one later on.
Just Coda 2019
It seems you can fix the stuttering by running the detectors into a delay set to 0.5 and back into the NOT gate. without removing or changing any other wiring.
Just Coda 2019
Super useful! Small question. Is there anyway to smooth out the stuttering? I noticed if you have a drain on the other end, and soon as one detector turns off it opens and closes the door letting more water in.

This is great.
