I love the design of the 'chomper' but I recolor it and put some extra armour on it as well, if you want to see it I can upload it to the workshop with your permission of course

Hello Splitsie :-)

I really like your creations. Would like to ask you about them. I have sent you a friend invitation.
Keep it up :-)

Is the updated chomper with shields going to be added?
How did it manage to survive your driving? Did you make it out of unobtanium?
Defense Shields by Darkstar :)
which shield mod did you use on the "updated" version of the chomper from the survival unlikely series? i cant find it..
If it survives long enough to get greebled I was hoping to :)
Oh, Found the Chomper. Will you be upping the latest iteration as a separate BP?
Great! id love to see it in action some more.
It's inside the big rover :)
is the chomper still around?
Thank you very much. I enjoy watching the show and really like what you two are building.
Yep, when I've got it complete it'll be getting posted :)
Will you put the bigger rover on here when you get it done? I would like to have both since its a two piece combo.

i want to say. that i started over and cheated in a single small projector to build this rover early. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it bouncy at high speed. i skipped five times after a huge jump, bouncing forward further and further at 90m/s i very much approve of this craft. weighted down its gonna be different

Made it to Brisbane this week. Great place. Did anyone tell mother nature that it is supposed to be winter :steamhappy: Its been beautiful weather lately. Going to catch up on Escape Unlikely vids now. Thanks for your (and Capac) significant contributions to the community. Cheers!
I could have, but left them as I had placed them using merge block shenanigans out of a sense of sentimentality :)
Great rover. Nice handeling. But will try to rebuild it some. Widen it a bit and run it on hydrogen instead. And most importantly make it left-hand drive :D. In the original couldnt you hide some of the batteries under the cockpits to get the floor in the back cleaner?
SaINt.Mayhem 2019
I'm working right now to make a large grid version that keeps the aesthetic.
Pigeon Bucket 2019
I still can't wait for the next episode of escape unlikely.

Thanks for all you have given to the community. I am in Sydney this week and in Australia for the first time. What a great country and city this is. I don't if its anywhere near your part of the country. But, I hope to get to Brisbane in the near future and explore more. Thanks again for the upload. I can wait to test it out when I get back Home.

Thanks for vids and all the work :)
For future reference: The smallest small-grid space an Engineer can fit (w:h:l) is 3:4:3 (3:3:3 when crouching).

<-- watching the video but i noticed an inconsistency. When you have a connector on a sub-grid you can press P all you like, and it will not cause it to disconnect. I find it a necessity to use pistons on my connectors for large grid rovers because of this.

I love this series! keep it up!
Thanks, I think I must have been thinking about top gun when I built this, getting some almost tomcat feels from the shots of the backend :P
Omg i love this rover so much i been waiting since u built it for it to go on the workshop!
Mogol 2019
Hell yeah. Thanks a lot Splitsie! Keep up the good work with all of your Space Engineers series! They're always so fun, especially with capac!
