I'm confused. What makes these "Ultimate"? Or has the various production, maintenance and power values changed a lot since this mod was created?

Quote, "Base production: *8 Metals/Rare Metals Per Sol. (Average Quality Mine)"

According to Paradox Wikis, the base production for vanilla Metal Extractor is 20 Metals and for the Rare Metal Extractor it is 7. Maintenance for both is just 2 Machine Parts and Power requirement is a paltry sum of 5...

So this mod's is worse for metal and barely better for rare metals, but with many times worse power consumption and higher build costs?

Also... no waste rock? Waste Rock should be considered a valuable resource, esp. with the various new buildings like Waste Rock Processor, Metals Refinery and Rare Metals Refinery.

im a big dumby and forgot about dust decreasing the maintenance bar. i placed 4 within their grey borders so of course they get dirtier. my b, dig the mod tho. good work :D

@Nibbles That's weird, works as it should at my end, uses almost exactly one polymer per sol. Maybe try re-sub the mod, other than that I don't know what to tell you.

noticed that to maintain the auto metal extractor it takes a bit more than whats listed in the description. maybe a bug or something, but it requires 1 polymer about every 1/3 sol.

As for the extractor in late game their becomes an employment problem because of the people (pop). having 3 times extractor are good hold 3x the employees. with 3 x the output. as for these extractors 3x for automation is good as well with the standard bonus if you dont want to cheat. This mod its an ok idea but the no waste rock when having the waste rock is a benefit these days with terraforming. Dont forget the ultimate housing can fit 244 people so you have to find jobs for these people or their will be big problems. The university needs schools tend to be problem because of the the pop.

@jojobe Well, I could make them upgradable of course...but I think there should be drawbacks because they are automated. But I might look into it and maybe change it.
