Yes, agreed. I do that when I actually get to play the game. The ships I refit I will add extra bits and hype up the look a bit although it adds a lot more ships to your race and if the AI had this, Stardock would have to release atleast 3 or more versions of each ship. Something I doubt they would be too keen on lol

Thanks . It gives me room to play around with new and old designs as well as making prototypes. Plus you can start with the old designs and update them as you progress threw the game to the newer shinier models, or stick with the classics or both.
